December 5, 200816 yr Ive hated him since i found out he got paid to do Children in Need...paid to do a charity event? And he accepts it?! Its beyond a joke...hes probably gettin paid to record this... hes beyond a joke
December 5, 200816 yr Author All hail Terry! It would be a joy for this to be the Christmas number 1... Well only if the Hives & Cyndi Lauper can't do it ;-) Anything but fxxking X-Factor Agreed.
December 5, 200816 yr Hes a total legend no he aint. hes a gobby portly irish idiot..... in the year of punk (the musical style that changed music forever and which 90% of todays music/fashions are derived from) he released 'the floral dance'... and some arseholes actually bought it <_<
December 5, 200816 yr And the winner of the Scrooge Award goes to BUGGER CRIMBO :heehee: gotta reputation to live upto martin... :) im a grumpy old man and am totally at ease with it!
December 6, 200816 yr Also there must be an alterior motive for this - since it's for CIN, do you think they knew the McFly single would flop? They probably only made a fiver from the McFly release so probably had to rush this 'gem' out
December 8, 200816 yr I was expecting this to be a complete train-wreck but it's actually quite charming :) However it's blatantly not El Tel singing in the middle part!!
December 8, 200816 yr I (famous last words - lol) would expect this to be number one on Sunday, but I'd be shocked if it held off the X Factor the following week. If it did, I'd have a grin bigger than the Cheshire Cat's! I think there's a trend developing here of maybe of nice quirky 1 week at number one record, the week ahead of an X Factor juggernaut. Agreed. I certainly wouldn't bet against this being number one this week.
December 8, 200816 yr I think top 10 is (just about) possible, but no way will this be no. 1 this week. So glad he's been dumped from Eurovision now...
December 8, 200816 yr Having heard it for the first time today I think Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song (all Single & Songwriting royalties going to the NSPCC) is the song we have all got to get behind to stop Simon Cowell ruining Christmas again.

Where did you hear it? I'm glad this one's for charity at least... I guess Magnus Carlsson's not looking likely?
