WHOA i swear i've never seen a song enter after 6 hours, its normally 8 hours isn't it for the biggest songs? Number 1's normally get to #1 sometime early in the night after they are released to itunes at midnight.

 

I'm not gonna get involved in all this pointless arguing, but what annoys me is Womaniser has been out on itunes for weeks now, and most people who have downloaded it because of the X Factor performance have already heard it. Why can't they buy it on their own accord? :angry:

Oh, there is no doubt TT will outsell her. But top 5 would be fine by me.

 

Blackout sold 42k with no promotion other than the single, so I am feeling a bit confident that she would sell more I guess. Could be wrong, but we'll see.

I'll be really pleased with 60k. Hopefully that would be enough to get her into the top 5.

 

But like I said, it's nice to see Womanizer moving back up! I thought after the performance it would be doomed. :lol:

Britney's new song is terrible I don't know why people are downloaning it now after Xfactor! to me it just sounds like her 'Gimme More' song from last year, just repeating the same line over, It's like she only makes music for strip clubs nowadays!

TBH WHY has she continued in her career so far??!.....is it because of the music??? I think not.... she needs to stop!

I'm not sure if Leona will be #1 next week to be honest she might have to settle for #2, TT's album is out this week, they should be promoting it all week, and they have a TV show next weekend. I know its on a Sunday, but the build up to it could generate more single sales. As its heavily promoted on TV now.

You're right about the timing of their show - which I'm so looking forward to. Incidentally - it won't be 'an audience with' as I don't think it was a 'celebrity' audience affair - just family, friends and fans. It could be that Leona does get a week at number 1 - but have it taken back by Take That the following week before the inevitable X-Factor Juggernaut comes to town. Either way ... I'm happy with either a Take That or Leona number 1 (as long as Take That get this Sunday's spot! :lol: )

OMG, she might be no.1 come midnight!

I just checked iTunes and Britney is up to number 2 that is pretty good going though I'm pretty pi**d that Leona is released early on there to gain bigger advanced sales before the rest get on release tomorrow. I think that releases should be on the Sunday instead of Monday especially that Sunday sales don't count towards the days chart or even just put them on iTunes cos sometimes new releases aren't to be found anywhere until Tuesday
