December 1, 200816 yr The media are all over Take That's new album - They are just about to feature on 'News At Ten' I doubt anyone in the country will be unaware that Take That have a new album out by the end of the week  :cheer: :yahoo: Can you send some of this media to Germany if you get bored please?
December 2, 200816 yr Author Woolworths collapse leave shelves empty of Take That http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbys...-Take-That.html The collapse of Woolworths had a severe knock-on effect yesterday when Zavvi, the UK's second biggest record chain, was left with no copies of highly-anticipated new albums from Take That and Britney Spears. The failure to sell two of the year's biggest albums on their first day of release is likely to have cost Zavvi hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost sales. Take That's The Circus album was expected to sell 80,000 copies alone on its first day of release yesterday. Last night supermarket Asda said that it sold around 20,000 copies of The Circus yesterday, its fastest-selling first-day release ever.

December 2, 200816 yr Doesn't Britney have some pretty heavy TV ads and other promo ads this week? Surely that should also help a bit too. Hopefully they get this stocking issue fixed by tomorrow!

Thing is we've been expecting them since Saturday and they haven't showed up from the record company. The website has stopped taking orders on CD's and DVD's too. It's going to be a weird Chrimbo this year, unless EUK is sold out first.
December 2, 200816 yr Author I remember Woolworth's putting the nail in Gary Barlow's solo career when they announced that they were refusing to stock his second album. Somehow it seems like justice when Gary Barlow is back and Take That are the biggest act in Britain and Woollies is the one who now stands on the edge of survival and Universal take back 300,000 copies of Take That's new album from Entertainment UK - leaving Woolies without stock!
