January 7, 200916 yr Thank f*** Florence isn't No1!! :cheer: There is some taste out there admittedly not much because she's top3. :puke: Frankmusik or Little Boots for No1 please. :)
January 8, 200916 yr number 2 - white lies Excellent, I wish they were #1 though, but #2 is a great placing for them.
January 8, 200916 yr number 2 - white lies LOW :( but I'm hoping like last year that number 2 will success X3 at least than the number 1.
January 8, 200916 yr :nocheer: So either Little Boots or Frankmusik miss out :snif: (To a lesser extent Lady Gaga - But she doesn't really need this )
January 8, 200916 yr White Lies  Hoped they'd be #1, but 2 is great! I want Little Boots for #1 now...
January 8, 200916 yr Oh no. That means either Frankmusik or Little Boots miss out! Oh no. Little Boots will be #1, I should think. Lets hope that #1 actually does better than #2 this year, because White Lies are really not very good IMO, I got their free single for Single Of The Week on iTunes, and I was a bit disappointed. Little Boots on the other hand
January 8, 200916 yr Author Only last year did the number two do better than the number one. Remember 2007? That was Mika at #01 and The Twang at #02. I don't think I need to say who was the most successful do I? LOL Both Little Boots and White Lies will have success on a large scale I think. White Lies more esp with gigs/festivals/albums and Little Boots is bound to have a #01 single, album and do well at festivals too... If Little Boots does win then it's such a good day for music. When was the last time a solo BRITISH pop woman topped a poll like this, let alone have success? She'll be the first for some years...

Corinne Bailey Rae did better than whoever won in 2006, as far as I remember. But, yeah, I agree, both artists will have very big success.
January 8, 200916 yr Corinne Bailey Rae did better than whoever won in 2006, as far as I remember. But, yeah, I agree, both artists will have very big success. I thought Corinne Bailey Rae 'won' that year. I'd be interested to see if Little Boots tops this, I'm not so sure she will now. I was almost certain Frankmusik would be on this.

I was almost certain Frankmusik would be on this. Little Boots has x10000 more buzz than Frankmusik. I blame Island, they seem to have generally terrible pushers whereas Little Boots has a genuinely fantastic promo team.
January 8, 200916 yr White Lies. Little Boots WILL be #1. I'd place money on it. Both her and White Lies will do v.well. Both will will do well differently though. White Lies will have a #1 album imo, and will sell out some pretty big venues and have decent slots for pretty much all of the festivals this year, and I think Little Boots could have a #1 single and album as well as doing the festival circuits this year too.
January 8, 200916 yr The #1 usually does better than number two. Adele < Duffy, Mika > The Twang, Corinne Bailey Rae > Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Bravery < Bloc Party, Keane > Franz Ferdinand, 50 Cent > Electric Six So four times the winner has been more successful than the 2nd, twice the other way around.
January 9, 200916 yr Author As expected, Little Boots is #01: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7817603.stm
January 9, 200916 yr :cheer: At least it's a very decent Number 1 This year! I think Frankmusik will have more success than La Roux, who I actually can't see being that successful at all TBH!
