I don't think it's a case of cancelled. Just a lot of these are tiddle taddle/bollocksy lies.

That sounds a lot more like I was expecting. I always thought there'd be Beyoncé and Boyzone at the final, it's the third act I wasn't sure of. But of course it's Westlife, the only act Simon Cowell has that hasn't been promoted on the show this year. :lol:

Who was stupid enough to put Alex with Beyonce. Is it not obvious to the producers that Beyonce would be better with JLS and Seal should go with Alex.
So Rihanna cancels, then Simon Cowell gets on his magic phone and calls Beyonce up?... yeah, seems very likely. I would still say that these journos are being fed a number of information from "insiders" and they have no idea who is actually performing 100% yet.
I'm happier to see Boyzone and Rihanna than I would have been to have seen Beyonce and Seal

 

I'd prefer Boyzone & Beyonce than Rihanna & Seal -_-

It's better than the other two acts she could be with IMO - if they sing Irreplaceable too it's not a complete screamer of a song and so one won't outdo the other.

 

From what I understand Beyonce just wanted to sing alone and there were ongoing talks to try and persuade her otherwise. I expect they ended up saying 'if you don't sing with a contestant, you don't sing at all' and that's why she's doing it.

Unlikely Beyonce, Take That, Seal and Duffy all cancelled, more likely journos don't know their arses from their elbows and none were ever going to appear

 

Well the Sun spouted a load of c**p about Take That cancelling which was untrue - they were never booked in the first place as they're in Rome this weekend - a long-standing commitment. So they were probably lying about Beyonce, Seal and Duffy (well it is The Sun we're talking about). Having said that The Sun got what it wanted .. thanks to their malicious lies - Take That have been slagged off all over the internet now. w*n**rs!

To be honest I would not be surprised if it was Simon Cowell & his PR Max Clifford who spread the stories of Take That appearing on the show themselves; and hence the subsequent "cancelling" creates negative PR. Especially how Gary has thrown his support behind the X-Factor bashing Geraldine McQueen.

 

Remember Take That used to be signed to SonyBMG (Simon Cowell's old label - With whom SyCo records is still contracted to) but when they reformed with vastly superior new music IMHO they snubbed their old label and went with rivals Universal instead.

 

Also remember Max Clifford has a stranglehold of influence on Rupert Murdoch Inc papers The Sun, News Of The World; Daily Mail; but not so much on the likes of the Daily Mirror or The People.

Simon Cowell has hinted that Robbie Williams could make a surprise appearance on this weekend's X Factor final.

 

The judge insisted that it is not too late for the former Take That star to perform on the show, adding that the public are in for a surprise.

 

"I would love Robbie to be there on Saturday night. And it's never too late," he said. "He's still one of the biggest stars in the world. He's great.

 

"You might be surprised on Saturday, I wouldnt go along with everything you read!"

 

Asked whether he thinks Williams should rejoin Take That, Cowell responded: "That's a tricky one, I think I'd keep it as it is. He could do a guest slot now and again."

 

The X Factor concludes Saturday at 7.10pm and 9.40pm on ITV1.

:rofl: they're doing a VERY good thing of keeping everyone of the scent that Beyonce WILL actually be there. They are doing a damn good job of promoting the show this way. By saying so&so are going to be there, people are going to be tuning in to see who REALLY is there, and I have a feeling apart from one guest (Beyonce) people are going to end up disappointed -_-

Or all this tiresome speculation is going to drive everyone to boredom, after all the speculation of the last few days short of Elvis reappearing from the grave I think my reaction will be "Meh, who cares" when the 3 are announced Saturday

He said JLS are singing 'Last Christmas' and then singing 'flying without wings' with Westlife!

Eggy is singing Wizzards Christmas song and then singing with Boyzone

and Alex is singing Silent Night and then a duet with Beyonce :wub: this is gonna be the best performce of the series for me haha

 

and then they all sing their best song from the series
