No surprise really, there's no video for it on the music channels because the video was 'too scary', the fans wanted something else and the mainly promoted song was on the free album while the other one got 1 play on the radio and 1 performance. It was very expected. Add to that that some people wouldn't buy anything by McFly nowadays anyway.

The McFly "Do Ya" video is on the Box and 4Hits all the time, it's a Christmassy one but Zombies gatecrash the party, or do you mean the other song not having a video. :unsure:

 

Every time I go to watch it on their top 40 things they say they can't play it and I haven't seen it at all. Only once, actually, on 4music when it first came out and the video & Radio:ACTIVE advert were apparently banned, said the Sun anyway. Well, they said the advert was banned for something that was in the video, too.

My friend said that if they release Falling In Love and POV as a double A Side it will be her first McFly purchase, even though she's already got them both on the free album! I want POV more than Falling In Love but both would be great.

yes they had a few sold out gigs in the summer so they are going back to AUS feb and Japan in march

and with the release of the dvd in Brazil i expect they will go back to do some more sold out concerts

the 2009 uk tour is due to go on sale Feb/march people are saying

great the single is doing what they're meant to- selling albums. Gutted for their 14 year run though, wanted them to catch Westlife. Maybe a rise next week? *crosses fingers*

I know, I know. But don't forget that iTunes have an around 50% market share (from total sales), and if something is not on iTunes it won't be very high (not even top 75?). And considering this it must have great sales somewhere else to reach number 41. Where is it now on the 7 Digital chart for example?

This is an article from 2005 but I read somewhere else too that itunes is bigger by now in the UK. And don't forget in 2005 physicals were much much bigger, now only 10-15% share from total sales at best.

 

As far as I know Amazon just launched digital singles and they don't count yet into the UK charts.

 

10% Physicals

90% Digitals ---» (54% from digitals are itunes sales according to the 2005 figures) ---» 45-50% iTunes

 

I don't think itunes sales have decreased since 2005 in fact increased. 7 Digitals could have gained on other download sites I'm guessing.
