I agree, at my local club its exactly the same and itll obviously be huge (ofcourse that doesnt mean itll be #1). Alot of people thought Lady Gaga was guaranteed to reach #1 (even me) and now i'm not so sure so anything can happen. I'd assume Alex will do another 100k at least this week then 60-70k ish the following week maybe? After that, i reckon itll fall quite quick. I wouldn't be surprised if Leona has a chance to reclimb in a week or too either.

 

It took until the end of the second week of this year for the gift card effect to calm down (looking at older threads) so itll probably be similar next year. Or maybe we will be in for a shock #1 if Gaga, Kid Cudi or even Lily can't do it?

But H'Two'O & T2 + Bodyrox aswell, were all MASSIVE in the clubs just before their release. They stalled at number 2, after everyone thought they would be a big number 1. To me the hype is no different to them ;)

well i just listened to it and i have to telll you....unless there is a massive remix in the UK, i dont think its all that awesome

 

having said that i think the h20 song was pretty good, and im not that into dance music

I think it will be huge - and here's why.. whenever I hear any one of FOUR parts of the song get mixed in at a club, I get excited!

 

If I hear that 'oh, oh' refrain at the start, I get excited

If I hear the 'day and nite, I toss and turn' etc part, I get excited

If I hear the immense bit of music which can only be described on the net as dadadadadadadada DA DA DA DA, I get excited

If I hear the 'at, at, at, at, at, at nite', I get excited!

 

At first i kept hearing bits and had no idea it was the same song! There isn't an obvious best bit, like a chorus, and different bits will make people wonder what the song is and want to download it, in my opinion.

I like it but it screams another H'Two'O for me... I think it will stall at 2 for about 3-4 weeks, before very slowly going out the chart....

H Two, T2 were older songs from like 2yrs before! They werent that huge, I didnt see this buzz last yr when they were being played, cos we all knew it- evreryone commenting how long it took to make it into the mainstream!

 

Kid Cudi will be no.1 im sure of it! -_-

P.S. who thought T2 would be no.1, only idiots, nothing was gonna top Bleeding Love, cos that was the song of last yr.

 

There isnt a song out there from Jan 12th which is get hit 50k+ plus sales in a week, and Kid Cudi will defo sell over 50k
