Jade Goody sparks anger with gay comment

Jade Goody has sparked anger among the gay community by saying that she will "look like a lesbian" if chemotherapy leaves her bald.

 

The former reality TV contestant, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August, claimed that people will think she is gay if they see her wearing "Timberland [boots], baggy jeans, and a big shirt with short hair or a bald head".

 

TV presenter and gay rights supporter Amy Lamé branded her comments "distasteful", telling The Mirror: "Does she really think that's what all lesbians look like? It's a completely old-fashioned, clichéd view. Does she really think she can get away with being homophobic like that?

 

"She's just managed to offend and insult not just lesbians but any woman with short hair including those who've lost their hair from disease, including cancer."

 

She added: "You'd think she'd have more important things to think about than making a reality TV show and worrying about her hair."

This stupid, ugly, ignorant, talentless, useless sack of skin just offends me by being ALIVE tbh..... Fukk off and die..... <_<

An off-the-cuff remark in private between friends is slightly different from doing it in the national media though Russ.... One would think that Jade should really have learned by now to actually think before she mouths off in the media, but it just shows the stupid cow will never learn, or else is incapable of learning, so what's the point in even trying to be nice about her....? And, okay, maybe she aint being homophobic, but actually read between the lines of what she's saying and, well, it's really more of an implication that all female chaemotherapy patients look like lesbians rather than something homophobic...... Bottom line, the bint just does NOT think about what she's saying before she opens that big, fat gob of hers, and she's got previous in that score let's face it....
