I think its best that Peter plays it safe and not uses Agnes, it would be best for him aswell as everyone else

Sorry I just see it doing a Headhunted or because everyone loves it so much already that it could easily be overlooked pointswise particularly in the semi final voting (where im guessing some might not give it points because they expect to it to make the final) . If he kept the secret till the last minute before the semi final I think it would be completely different and he'd do really well because the hype would be just before the voting and now the early hype makes the win/top ten finish a lot more insecure but that's just my opinion.

he couldn't have done that because of the rules regarding the reservations...he made his confirmation 5 minutes before the last chance because he made his initial reservation in 2008

I made this point in support of Release Me, seeing as everyone else seems to be slating it :cry: I'm not saying it is a clear winner, just that it's in with a good chance because I can imagine it picking up a lot of 10's and 12's rather than a lot of 3's and 4's...

 

As for not allowing odds, I actually think that it's a great shame that they've been abolished as I feel that these threads often generate some of the most interesting discussion on here, and they are usually completely wrong anyway. I know you think that it will make the final more interesting but they are always completely unpredictable anyway...

 

If William Hill tried to abolish odds on Eurovision there would be an outcry! And the 2008 odds queen Charlotte Perrelli walked away with it didn't she :heehee:

it's an odd experience...it's not quite as immersive as when you are part of the final, and whereas if you are in the final, you support your own song 100%, when you are not, it allows you to throw your support behind the songs that you love the most...

 

I don't like it as much as being in the final, but I'd rather be a controversial non-qualifier coming 3rd out of 70-odd rejects than coming last in the final :heehee:
