No, there was going to be a poll to decide what spin-off we would be having - only two/three people have opposed the idea :P

It depends how it goes for VV I guess. I know she finished higher on the Sound Of list than Gabriella but I can see it doing a pre-advert "Sweet About Me". Though it deserves not to as it's actually amazing. :wub:

so are we definately gonna have to wait til early march before we have the next contest?

five week gaps are nothing unusal though between contests...the last contest was 5 weeks ago now wasn't it? I presume Trashlexis is thinking of a spin off in mid-Feb and XIV in the first week of March, which would be a five week gap like normal

 

although for the record, I'd prefer to have XIV at the end of Feb, the spin off third week in March maybe and then XV in early April...I don't think we should have the spin-off next

Ya, I was not really complaining about the length of the gap overall, just that it may occur in the next month as from 30th Jan I hope to have a month withnout college ( :w00t: ) so I'd actually be able to follow BJSC closely again!

Im not partically bothered really as long as VV Brown isnt in the top 5 when i enter her LOL

Because that would be extremely hypocritical of me after my open slating of the spin-off idea :P

i'm not overly keen on the multiple spin-offs tbh.

 

TBO, 10 contests and a spin off. yes. but i'd rather not have it feb so soon after the last spin off.

 

 

i'd prefer to have it april time maybe start a vote next month then give us a month or so to plan our entry.

hmm...looks as if Trashlexis might end up hosting (and participating in) the spin-off himself at this rate :rofl: I can't believe so many people are against it! I don't care either way to be honest, I'd be happy to participate in a spin-off or normal contest next month, but I do think that we should forget about the idea seeing as it seems so unpopular

 

either that or run a spin-off alongside a normal contest, but people might not want to listen to that many new songs all at the same time, so maybe we just have to accept that spin-offs are not wanted on here

 

clearly not everything that works on NSC will work here

BJ is probably not ready for the spin-offs :o
