LIGHTS Awareness Show

In this, the darkest time of year, the Kingdom of Shadow has promised to bring a little bit of LIGHTS into the BuzzJack Song Contest.

The great Kingdom's entry into the next contest recorded a show which was kicked with her biggest hit to date 'Drive My Soul'.

The Canadian singer has had her EP released on iTunes already and it tipped to become huge in 2009 after completing a small tour of Canada and the US. 'February Air' her follow up single is released in the new year and continues the distinctive mellow techno sound.

Lights, I feel, is at her best when performing upbeat athems such as 'White', which will undoubtedly feature heavily on her tour of the BuzzJack world after Xmas, and of course 'Ice' her entry into BJSC XIII

believe the hype ^_^

why on earth did people not like Believe Again  it's EPIC, spent 12 weeks at No.1 in my chart

i did.

and FSR Rontvia look on course for another Ashtonise big pointer

excellent

as for Believe Again, maybe it's because I sent the live version (not that it affected Sugababes or Beverley Knight)

I should have sent the video version...the reason I didn't is because I don't like the radio edit much...I prefer the 6 minute album version

It affected me 2nd time round :kink:

Just because i have had no feedback on my entry (cept jon in my chart thread)

This is Lorelei Carlson. She's from Pennsylvania in the United States, and the song is called Alone. It's rather Electropop tinged as opposed to Dragonette style full on Electro. Vocals seem to be rather raw, almost indie-esque. Backing track is quite upbeat and funky.

Anyway, here is Ashton's BJSCXIII entry; Lorelei Carlson - Alone.

Enjoy ^_^

A BJSCXIII announcement from FSR Rontvia

Young upcoming British pop singer Pixie Lott is returning for FSR Rontvia immediately after she has become re-available. The singer, looking to be one of the stars of 2009, finished in a respectable 3rd place in BJSCXI with the pop/R&B song, 'Boys & Girls'. New single 'The Fall' is more of a pure pop direction albeit with electro and R&B influences. Pixie, famous for her extensive promo tour last time around and gushing compliments about every country she visited said 'it's such a great honour to be instantly asked back to represent FSR Rontvia again...I hope I can do them proud and I'm very excited to be getting my music out there!. When we last visited Kopečka I said that I wanted to come back and I can't wait to have the chance to spend a few days there...the shops had better be ready!!!'

you can hear 'The Fall' here:

Christophe LIVE!

Tonight Christophe Willem performed his song 'Kiss The Bride' at the Grand Hall of Zurratown. He spiced up the song with some Kylie sounds from CGYOOMH. The result was fantastic the crowd went mad :yahoo: This was the first occasion that he sang his song as the official entry of Sangria for the 13th (I'm not superstitious :heehee: ) BuzzJack Song Contest.

After Xmas Xtophe will begin his tour to promote the song all over the BuzzJack world :cheer:

Here you can listen to the recorded version of the song (opinions are welcomed as I haven't got any yet :arrr: ) luvz

Jennifer Hudson - If This Isnt Love, another possible entry for Lorikeet.

No Promo Tour

Ashtonise entry Lorelei Carlson will not be going on a promo tour the ASC confirmed today. The ASC said that too much promo can be a bad thing, and they don't want to give the song any hype at all. Alone sees Ashton change direction in a move that will last until Dragonette release new material. When it will be back to the Electropop for Ashton.

Afternoon Avec Amelle will be back for a regular show. Dates are to be announced after New Year.

THOUGHTS ON UFFIE?

Pop The Glock:

First Love:

I personally prefer 'First Love' out of them! They're both actually quite good! She's a bit like Nadia-oh who I didn't like one bit  but Uffie is better IMO!
Why would you withdraw? :o

Just this contest is starting to distract me from real life especially studying  I'm becoming addicted :kink:

it's sad when I'm scrolling through CD's in my break at work thinking 'I wonder if any of these would make good BJSC entries'

i'm the same :kink:

i hear something and go hmmm, BJSC??

especially album tracks i haven't heard in a while

more funny is when I hear BJSC entries at work

yesterday I heard Santogold's Say Aha and I almost turned to the person next to me and said 'oh BaNG sent this to BJSC'

i love hearing songs in that situation.

It's like "i love this song, it got my 10 in, erm never mind....... so, the weather"

  I laughed like never. Instead of thinking about weather/boys/girls/sex/studying/cats/house/cars etc on the way home/to Uni I think about BJSC too

:drama:  I feel like in May all the year  [/esc]

hows about an instrumental for Rontvia XIV :o

Phil might recognise the song somehow...

an indie/rock/electro/dance/country instrumental...It screams winner!

Samantha Jade beats Samantha James and Samantha Mumba for Kathaldazia's BJSC XIII
http://www.news.com.au/common/imagedata/0,,5596296,00.jpg
After all the typical Kathaldazian indecisiveness, the stress has been relieved. Australian model/singer/songwriter, Samantha Jade came out on top in the finals. Her modelling career kicked off at the age of four and after winning the Amazing Grace singing competition her interests shifted to music. Samantha featured on Step Up soundtrack and wrote songs for JoJo and Ashley Tisdale. She now is working with Timbaland for her debut album to be released next year. 'Turn Around' is an rnb pop song which is very 'PCD I Hate This Partish' and I hope y'all like it :heehee:
