Gangsta's Paradise is part of it I guess, whether it's a rip off or not, it was the first ever song that I LOVED, so it's got the ultimate nostalgia value for me.

I also don't think Coolio totally realises the effect he has on people. When Michelle got all teary later on, it took him a while to realise it was down to him. He says moronic things, but I don't think he's a BAD person.

And purely from a childish point of view, he is kind of amusing to watch. People who go into Big Brother should know by now to expect and be able to cope with fireworks and morons.

I agree with this, I'm finding Coolio quite endearing...Granted I haven't seen much of what he's been doing. Maybe he is sexist or whatever. But in the parts I've seen he's been entertaining. He's the kind of person needed in there to keep the place interesting. If he did do something to upset Michelle, I think he was totally oblivious to it. I think he's always oblivious.

On a side note, was PMSL at Verne's impersonation of Coolio.

I'm also finding myself warming to Mutya, Terry and even Ulrika. (:o)

Lucy to go!

If there was ever a reason to keep Ulrika in slapping Terry round the face was surely it.
Mutya's album sales of Real Girl are up 109% on play.com The others are all up but Mutya's has increased the most.

So that takes it back up to #579 then?

02. La Toya (actually a kind of heartbreaking story she told about her marriage, did that really happen though?)

As the one of the tens of fans of La Toya pre-CBB I felt compelled to register and answer this - and most likely, yes it's true.

La Toya was basically introduced to Jack Gordon (her ex-manager/husband) circa 1985 (give or take a year) because her father was too busy to manage her career; at the time no one knew of Jack's criminal past that has been well documented by several sources. La Toya and Jack went to Japan where he took her passport and started controlling her life and stopped her from getting to her family. What's important to remember that up to this point La Toya had been completely sheltered from the outside world - she hadn't really gone anywhere alone without her family! In the following years La Toya's behaviour seemed to change - she basically went from this really shy girl to an outspoken sexpot and often appeared almost drugged and/or fed lines in interviews - there's an interview on YouTube where an interviewer confronts her about being fed lines and she basically just walks out!

When she was on the shortlived series Armed & Famous she seemed very passionate about helping women in abusive relationships, as she preached about it 75% of the time. I honestly think she's telling the truth - people might find it unbelievable that a celebrity would be taken advantage off in that way, but Sam Lufti and Britney Spears, anyone?

Moving on - how annoying and two-faced is Tina? Ugh.

Coolio is such a legend ahaha. Some of the stuff he comes up with is just classic.

Coolio to win so far pls <3.

Or Ben.

Also is it just me (even though I know it's not a Norma mentioned it in another thread haha) but is there something CRAZILY sezy about Tommy? Ooooherrrr.

i wish more bj'ers would reply to opposing points of view in this way.... reasoned, thought out, intelligent.... i like people who can support their views in this way, even if my views differ.

i dont think uncoolio is a bad person, just loud, crass, and pretty dumb. he is not the sort of person id mix with in real life and he isnt the sort of person id like to watch on tv. totally understand and accept your nostalgia value m8.... thats your personal thing and no one can knock it.

so far latoya for me has been the biggest surprise, shes very shrewlike until shes asked to perform a role.... she took to being the jester very well, not moaning or complaining, no personal hang ups about playing that role ..... plus she totally out thought tommy!!!! he simply wasnt interested in her deeper thoughts on life... total respect for her, rejecting her religion because she had THOUGHT about it for herself and her questions couldnt be answered. and her views on the universe were spot on but again tommy couldnt reply on the same level.

rankings to date

1 terry

2 tina :P

3 latoya

4 michelle

11 uncoolio

5-10 everyone else in no order as they are pretty much unremarkable..... so far.

Ok, that's it. I actually love LaToya. She's so gentle. Her voices could put me to sleep (in a good way). I just like hearing her speak. I want to hear her voice right now.

Also Ben: Hi, let's get married now.

Lolllzz I don't respond to opposing views when I cba and it's clear that people are wrong anyway haha.

AND I KNOW RIGHT STEPH :(. When he was talking about his last 3 Facebook girlfriends with Lucy I swiftly added im on there hahah, oh dear.

I love Ulrika and Lucy :( In fact, with Ben they are my favourite three, damn Terry! I hope Lucy goes though, Ulrika is truly excellent!
Apparently one of Johnsons friends have been offered a lot of money to join her in the house. Nancy someone

That's the woman who was dating Sven Goran Eriksson, before Ulrika went in and worked her 'magic' on him! Would be hella good TV to see them both in the house together i'm sure...

With Coolio too I can see why people don't like him. He does boast about gang culture and stuff, but then this is his culture. His culture is completely different to pretty much 99.9% of Britain's. Where he grew up it was dog eat dog, and if you got shot at or whatever it was cool as fuck. It's not nice to hear him boast about it, but it's where he's come from and it's what he's used to talking about with his friends and stuff. Deep down he seems quiet a sensitive guy, who is obviously a family man. But from his time where he grew up he's got that personality where he doesn't want to be seen as physically weak, or weak minded in any way...
