December 21, 200816 yr the winner isn't music people like Jeff made it themself, wrote their own stuff, played instruments, he were incredible he used to play every week at the sin-é cafe in New York, he's worth a billion of Alexandras
December 21, 200816 yr no one, i think they should have cancelled the program and drowned Simon Cowell in his money. LOL that just made me laugh!

December 21, 200816 yr Listening to his version of Hallelujah on Radio One again today reminded me what a great record it is. Must download it and get it back into my library.
December 22, 200816 yr The aforementioned beauty that is Jeff duetting with Elizabeth Fraser... All Flowers In time.... 41GsVR7Rmlk
December 22, 200816 yr X Factor is nothing but a karaoke contest but it is still good entertainment and has produced 2 highly competent winners in 5 years People should not take X Factor too seriously and just accept it is a glorified karaoke competition
December 22, 200816 yr Well over 500k+ sales for Alexandra this week shows that people like X-Factor winners' music. A moderator should be above wishing people dead on a public forum. Which leaves at least 12.5m people who watched the final (and much of the rest of the three-month advertising campaign for the record) and DIDN'T buy it.

December 22, 200816 yr Says our resident Tory, spokesman for the self-proclaimed law and order party. Everyone breaks the law when they go over the speed limit mate, to me downloading music or tv shows can be classed in that catergory, it is hardly murder or rape
December 22, 200816 yr ^^ Completely agree. I bet 90% of members on this forum have illegally downloaded music tbh
December 22, 200816 yr Everyone breaks the law when they go over the speed limit mate, to me downloading music or tv shows can be classed in that catergory, it is hardly murder or rape Oh so speeding is OK is it? Try telling that to the relatives of people killed in speed-related road accidents.
December 22, 200816 yr Oh so speeding is OK is it? Try telling that to the relatives of people killed in speed-related road accidents. Speed doesn't kill c**p drivers who can't handle cars at speed do I admit to being a speeder on country lanes that I know every inch of tarmac on, dual carriageways, motorways in the appropriate conditions and so on I do not speed near schools. residential areas and so on so before you get all high and mighty I have 22 years of driving without a single accident bar striking a deer, I also have a protected no claims bonus and multiple years no claims discount B)

Telling her about the accident is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Speed kills and it's c**p drivers who speed. The limit is there for a reason. December 22, 200816 yr I just adore Jeff Buckley's voice. He had such range. 4 octaves apparently! :o Him singing Lilac Wine never fails to make me cry.   Last Goodbye is a fantastic song too :yahoo:  :yahoo: Lilac Wine _XXpbv90QMU Last Goodbye (can't find a video that'll let me embed <_< ) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sBl3bEz8JMg&...feature=related
December 22, 200816 yr That version of Lilac Wine is stunning. I used to like Elkie Brooks' version as a teenager but her version pales in comparison with this. Yes he was reputed to have a wide vocal range. Fortunately, unlike many of today's divas, he chose to demonstrate it across a range of songs rather than trying to fit the whole range into each and every song.
January 1, 200916 yr Last Goodbye (can't find a video that'll let me embed <_< ) i read that sony are releasing a best of soon - wonder if it will be a se with additional bonus video stuff on - might be worth buying all the stuff again...
