Well Done to Geraldine McQueen the highest single in the 2008 UK Xmas chart that has not been performed on the free advert that is ruining the charts & the Xmas #1 each year X-Factor.

Therefore to my mind it is the true Christmas #1.

I hope so  it's actually one of my favourites now!

Same. Its such a feelgood track.

How I wish I could see the girls from Two Up Two Down on the video though. Makes me chuckle!!

Beyonce Knowles rose to fame as a member of the R&B ensemble Destiny's Child. With Beyonce's father as a manager, the group garnered massive success with their 2001 album, SURVIVOR. Soon Beyonce, sporting a sexy yet girl-next-door image, broke out on her own, with major roles in the Austin Powers movie GOLDMEMBER, a hip-hop version of the opera CARMEN, and her star turn as a Diana Ross-esque diva in the film DREAMGIRLS. With the release of her more eclectic solo albums and acting roles, Beyonce became a full-fledged international superstar and role model. It has been rumored that after her 2008 marriage to rap mogul Jay Z, Beyonce would be performing and recording less and focussing on A&R work. - HMV

Its offical, Gerladine is not a one-hit wonder thanks to this Xmas tune but I think this tune will fall like a stone a couple of weeks just like her or his first hit.

IIWAB has really grown on me since X Factor, such a great performance!

Hate that it beat Geraldine though. Sure (s)he will climb next week.

But surely every time a song features anywhere it's a free advert?!

If you say so. Never mind that 'Run' was performed over a month ago, a few weeks before it was available to purchase as a single and you could argue that Jeff didn't exactly perform on the X Factor, even if it is charting because of what the #1 is.

Oooosh 'Broken Strings'.

No offence to any of the other femalkes he's sung it with but Furtado's is the best.

The lyrics to this song are so beautiful <333

Well Peter Kay performed on the Royal Variety Show which was seen by nearly eight million people... might not be the 11/12m that watch the X Factor but it's still quite a decent 'free advert' for him...
