Anyone tell me which and which falls out of Top 40 from smallest number. Also Top 75 and 100.

Example:

#12 Cliff Richard - Thank You For A Lifetime

- then it went out of Top 40 next week.

#13 Terry Wogan & Aled Jones

#15 (I forgot that football song)

Anyone?

There was a track by Embrace in the 90s which fell from #9 to out of the top 40 in it's second week. Not that I can recall it's title or anything.

Was it 'My weakness is none of your business' in '98?

If i remember correct Garbages 'Shut Your Mouth' charted at #20, and then fell out of the top 75 the following week. Don't know the exact placeing though

So 21st Century Xmas/Move It is the highest drop from Top 40?

Edited by funmaker11

Some of the Pet Shop Boys singles have dropped quickly.

Red Letter Day dropped from No.9 to out of the Top 40. Don't know the exact position though

I remember Dina Caroll fell from 16 to 42 or something in 93 with Dont Be A Stranger, but it had spend a long time in the top 10 and that was a huge achievement back then!
