29 NE I KNOW HIM SO WELL - ELAINE PAIGE/BARBARA DICKSON

30 NE SAY YEAH - THE LIMIT

Radio Luxembourg slightly missing with Madonna. The rest of the chart was full of future hits, though. ZZ Top, Imagination, Strawberry Switchblade, Elaine And Barbara, and The Limit all ready to tackle the Gallup top 20! Strawberry Switchblade started promising. I remember pushing stations to play the September release of "Jolene", a cover of Dolly Parton`s 1976 hit...but it never took off, even though some local Radio Stations did play it. The Limit were also cased adrift with "Say Yeah", and never graced the top 20, again. We amy have thought Imagination, might have had more success with "Thank You My Love"...as their last major hit. This one was all over the radio, but missed the top 20, by just one.

Thanks Dave . Good climbs for Kevin Rudolf and Britney, and OK for GA. I knew people were overestimating MGMT though...

Lacking new entries though, Tom! We could not see Ava Leigh in store. Has it been cancelled/postponed?
