Gutted GA aint top 30 yet though this should be as is climbing to almost top 20 on I Tunes - Plus the package is out Friday.

I just really hope it makes top 10.

Pleased for Saturdays, can see them about 7 come Sunday and i really dont get everyone loving this Lady Gaga song, i really dont rate it!!

Great to see James Morrison's album moving up. I bought it on the strength of BS, but to be honest the whole album has been on repeat for several weeks now. Some great songs on there, especially `Once When I Was Little' Wonder what he'll release next.
Its Pinnacle

Pinnacle was one of the largest independent distributors in the UK, with a 4.3% share of the UK music market as of 2007, according to the BPI.

Amazon and HMV are among the retailers who relied on their services.

That’s dreadful news the physical music industry is taking a real battering at the moment.

Let’s just hope that Pinnacle doesn’t take down HMV like EUK did with Zavvi…

Although a 4.3 market share suggests HMV must have other suppliers surely?

Friday? Random...

Pinnacle went into admin a month ago at the start of December. It distributed a lot of indie labels. Apparently it was a victim of the Woolworth's problems as it had loads of stock there.

Lady GaGa is with Polydor in the UK which is part of Universal Group so she should be entirely unaffected by this - almost all the indie labels affected sorted out alternative arrangements within two weeks.

'Sex On Fire' and 'Single Ladies' being so high is interesting, I guess other download sites are becoming more effective as 'Single Ladeis' hasn't reached the top 10 on iTunes so even if there was some physicals data missing it wouldn't benefit that much.

edit: just as I say that, SL makes the iTunes top 10, SoF is still at #20 on there though.

Yes! i so hope James/Nelly can stay top 3
I think we shouldn't worry about Girls Aloud. I think they'll climb smth like 30-8 next week: strong physicals and single mix of TLK are on their side.
Where is Beyonce's album?

I think it was posted, down 1.

Doees Rihanna still have 3 singles in the top 40?

She could have 3, we only have a top 39 in the singles today.

#40 could be Rihanna (Disturbia), Duffy or Coldplay, I'm thinking it could be Duffy at #40, and lost the other 2 tracks from the top 40.
