One word for that episode: Amazing.

Samantha Janus proved her doubters wrong- She really is one of EastEnders best actresses.. If not THE best. Good acting from Charlie Brooks, Lacey Turner and even Babs Windsor aswell.

The last ten minutes of that episode was just pure :o and :(. 10/10.

I basically worked out everything that would happen by reading various spoilers on here. The only bit I didn't see coming was that she died while walking happily towards Ronnie. I still had to fight back tears. It's pathetic but actually made me sad, I just wanted them to live happily ever after. :(

That was the most heartbreaking bit :(

Between "Baby", "Mum" and the screams...tragic

Well, my girlfriend got me to watch tonights Eastenders because I just couldn't enjoy it massively but man, that Ronnie sold me. Considering it's seemingly given a bad rap for poor soap opera acting, Ronnie's performance was heartbreaking. The rest of it was kind of lame, but it's the best acting produced from a SOAP I've seen (in UK & US).

Also some behind the scenes pics on DS

well true, it was dramatic, heartbreaking, emotional.... but tbh isnt it what we expected? with or without the spoilers nothing ever has a happy ending on eastenders so danielles demise was inevitable, and it HAD to be executed in this way... there was no other way the plotline could end.... so it was kinda predictable, but highly charged emotional drama nontheless.

pity though.... id like eastenders just for once to have a happy ending, this must rate as one of the saddest storylines ever.

Over 10m viewers tuned in to see last night's wedding of the year in EastEnders.

The special hour-long episode, which featured Peggy and Archie's nuptials as well as the controversial death of Ronnie's covert daughter Danielle Jones, was seen by 10.58m (48.3%) at 7.30pm on BBC One.

BBC Three's later 10pm repeat added a further 1.24m (8%) and was the most watched multichannel programme of the day.

Fantastic share! :D

Some previous big episodes-

Stax Reveal: 13.9m (55%)

Tanya buries Max: 11.4m (43%)

Max Branning run over: 9.2m

Whitney/Tony reveal: 9.9m (44%)

Xmas Day 2008: 11.5m (44%)

Clearly less people watching TV last night as the share is so good.

Yep, the share is fantastic, and it's over 11.5m when you take BBC3 into account, which is 2-3 million more than the usual Thursday figures. :D Woo!
I loved it, best episode in ages, but is Danielle really dead? why can't EE have a happy ending for a change?
Yep shes dead. Happy endings dont work lol. Danielle was just another small piece in the larger story of Ronnie. It was their plan all along :(

Fantastic acting and episode altogether i thought. I almost got emotional at the end, it was just so sad :(

Eastenders made my day yesterday as a whole. really incredible :D

Aidan's theory could be true, she might have Claire's powers from Heroes :heehee:

that episode left me so upset

so well played by actresses

the irony that she thought she was dead then watches her die in her arms:(

i know how to dumb for Ronnie to assume that her baby has been dead and then find its been alive all this time to only find out she dies at the time of revelation <_<

I think many found tonights just as sad as last night

Poor Ronnie :( Even Janine was upset.

BTW - spoiler for next week

Peggy is back on Monday...and she asks Phil to kill Archie! She wants him gone!
