February 9, 200916 yr look at the terrible album sales the past 3 weeks!!! it's mainly because Zavvi and Woolworths shut down!!!! the closures had a terrible influence on the music industry....
February 10, 200916 yr And, knowing our luck, HMV will go to the dogs (no pun intended). But it hopefully won't be that bad. Thought HMV were buying a number of Zavvi stores that don't have a HMV in the area, plus their also doing some music festivals this year. Sounds quite a way from calling in administrators to shut the business down, oh no sorry, save the business :lol:
February 10, 200916 yr Well i went into Zavvi yesturday and figured out why it's going down the pan. The Saturdays album which I bought in HMV for £7 was £12.99 :o Most of the albums and DVDs i were looking at were considerably cheaper at HMV even with the 25% discount <_< Well thats only one album, its not as if it would be the same for everything (although it could well be, admittedly)
