April 3, 20196 yr they should totally push it, one of his best singles and sure there's a new generation of new fans since the original release
April 3, 20196 yr Agree with the last part Bjork, I'd never heard the song before until he made this announcement :P Edited April 3, 20196 yr by WhoOdyssey
April 3, 20196 yr Intrigued by the 2019 version and glad to see Calvin remixing it himself. I’m not sure of the need for a ‘remaster’ when the track is only 10 years old and hardly sounds dated/mono/lacking in quality.

April 3, 20196 yr Agree with the last part Bjork, I'd never heard the song before until he made this announcement :P this does make me feel old! 2009 was the first year I started following the charts :o it's still one of Calvin's best and I still think it sounds fresh 10 years on.
April 3, 20196 yr It doesn't even sound familiar to me :P Strange, because I know a lot of Calvin's singles from around that time.
April 3, 20196 yr Is there going to be a 2019 version?!? :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: I hope they totally push it too. I mean, it already reached atop the UK singles chart, but there are a lot of people who haven't listened to his previous stuff (I Created Disco and Ready For The Weekend) yet.
April 3, 20196 yr That reminds me I haven't actually listened to those two albums (flop fan). He did get a lot better 2011 onwards in general but 'I'm Not Alone' is very much up with the high standard of his later work, glad we're getting a 2019 mix though.

April 4, 20196 yr it's sure in my top 5 Calvin songs the first song he did that was a 10/10 I didn't like his first singles very much, in fact I remember I hated The Girls, that was really a bad single, very annoying, but he kinda won me over with this, his first #1 and totally deserved
April 4, 20196 yr that doesn't count, he's featured It kind of does count, as it's in his chart history as being a number one. Can't believe this is a decade old now! It's strange to think this was the point he really became elevated to a whole new level and he's still going strong now.
