Yes, but it's fairly notable in that it tends to get at least a story on BBC and we have a fair few Irish members participating...

I think MGP will become as big as MF on Buzzjack in due course (if I continue to hype the songs up as I have done :kink:)

Well, I've heard the ones Rich has linked to out of curiousity. I'm just not fond of the idea of this contest becoming Eurovision rejects contest every January to May. (possibly longer as the NFs spawn more than one song each) With you, Pavel and possibly Rich already considering these rejects I can certainly see it going that way.

I actually disagree - I only see it happening for one contest a year tbh, as January has no national selections, February has no national selections in time for contest confirmation (and February could end up becoming a spin-off month to keep the contest in balance...), and NF fever has generally died off by April seeing as all the amazing entries will probably have been sent in March ;o
