Girls Aloud, I really like. It's nice, it's pop music. What I find great is that they're always talking about how they're taking risks with the songs. And every time I hear one of their songs for the first time on the radio, I go, 'Well, that's not very good. That's a bit rubbish.'

 

"But then you listen to it 10 times and suddenly it's brilliant. And that's the risky thing with them. Because you think, 'That's a bit quirky and weird, that song,' but actually when you listen to it, and you've heard it enough times, that's actually catchy and cool. It's just a different kind of pop song.

 

Really glad 'The Fear' is storming towards a #1, it's one of the more brilliant singles of the recent months.

It'll be interesting to see what she is in the official charts on sunday im thinking top 10 somewhere. So brilliant for her to almost be number one on itunes after just one whole day of downloading.

Don't forget she's missed out on 5 Extra day's of sales! T.I & Rihanna entered Low Top 40 (39 I think) after doing a similar thing. She will enter Top 40, but not as high as people think! Shontelle, AAR & The Fray have been Top 30/40 pretty much all week, and they weren't Top 40 in yesterday's mids.

The top 40 only consists of sales so she might be there. Im so confused with how it works though so could be wrong.

:wub: I love Lily for releasing a four track EP, with two songs not on the new album, they're great songs too!

 

Anyway, I'm expecting The Fear to be number one soon and where does everyone think she'll end up on the official chart? Around 34-37 I think :P Maybe higher, or lower :P

number one is unlikely but i think shes sold enough to feature in the top 40! For her to climb right up to number one means she must have sold quite a few. I know the rest have 5 extra days worth but i still think she may be in the official 40.

Lily hasn't made #1 on iTunes yet, so I doubt it's sold enough in one day to make the top 40 somehow. It may scrape in though, and should make #1 on official release week.
