Ohh and BTW..White Lies arn't Indie as Richie said their on Polydor with The Sats/Girls Aloud/Killers all of which are Pop, I guess White Lies intended to be an Indie act but Polydor have made them more commercial for Radio etc...Just a guess though! January 21, 200917 yr The definition of "indie" hasn't been "on an independent label" since the majors starting buying up/co-opting the indies 20 years ago. It refers to a NME-esque guitar band.

Yeah, it really is time they took that back. How anyone can compare White Lies to The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Stricken City or KASMs is beyond me. The NME would feature White Lies as the have to keep their circulation up but I'll bet not one of the staff can even stand them.
