January 21, 200917 yr IMO thats an unfair quote. TS are not trying to sound like GA in anyway, they are a five piece girl band but have a different sound jus like GA had to the Spice Girls. I love Girls Aloud and I love the Saturdays. I think Girls Aloud have a fantastic sound, and their b-sides are amazing, but the Saturdays also have an amazing sound, "Up" is a fantastic single, and one of the best original releases of 2008. "If this is love" is a fresh good-feel pop track, and "Issues" has a very catchy lyric and beat. I think its unfair to say their singles aren't great. Anyway, I predict THE LOVING KIND will climb back up to #12 or #13 by Sunday - it deserves another week at least inside the top 10, but that wont happen. ISSUES will fall to either #5 or #6 by sunday, but that will be made up by a #8,#9 or #10 placing for CHASING LIGHTS They probably are in your opinion but in my opinion i just think GA's singles are better. Up and Work are really good songs, If This Is Love is quite average and although Issues is catchy, it's lyrics seems quite corny but thats just how i feel. And to be completely honest, all their verses to their three singles sound the same in a way but the choruses are catchy and thats what i remember them for. Anyway, good luck to them and hope their album can go Top 10 :)

January 21, 200917 yr Take That's Greatest Day has now been completely removed from iTunes... Well the holidays are OVER, mundane lived housewives etc have to get back to their drudge reality eventually ... its just a shame their choice of escapist nostalgia was a marketing gimmick to sell to teen female (type) sexuality were the music quality was completely redundant to the induction of sexual fantasy much to the suffering of anyone with genuine interest in the music itself as with such (pop entertainment) talentless, Record company PUPPETS "boybands" in general (such (purchase) victims of aggressive marketing being unable to objectively separate their fantasy from the music). In truth TT et al should have been restricted to some non-musical soft porn chart were their appeal could be fairly represented. :) (you can go on any boyband forum and see how negligible the discussion about the actual music is compared to how fit the Lads are and the extreme lack of presence of STR8 men). Just imagine if in general male sexuality was the same as female sexuality we'd have had some UTTER dross at #1 regularly from the likes of Pammy Andersons (.)(.) and Jordans of the world :arrr:

But then again - in the 1970's I was not ashamed to be a fan of ELO when all around me were telling me how sh/te they were compared to 'brilliant' acts like Fleetwood Mac (Rumours - :puke2: :puke2: ) Pray tell what $h!te do you listen to? For a long time no-one has really angered me on these boards but you have - tosspot! January 21, 200917 yr Thank you Jester and Hand-Jon (and Fmaker) for your support. I thought I would be in trouble! But honest to god ... I could make sweeping statements about personalities based on the music they listen to ... but I don't! I'm assuming Ima is short for ....... I'm a Wa nker! XIHXnDdfOgw I tried to get the Hank Wangford version but I hunted high and low with no success. This Ivor Biggun version will have to do ... constantly amuses ... and is better value for money than Fleetwood Mac (Rumours era). Norma
