January 20, 200917 yr What i was saying was that the saturdays should be thankful to GA for allowing them to support them as it was a fantastic way to enter the industry. But, their success has been mostly been down to amazing singles, no other reason. I don't actually think the Saturdays' singles are that great. They are ok but they seem like GA b-sides (if you don't mind me saying). Work is pretty cool though
January 20, 200917 yr I don't actually think the Saturdays' singles are that great. They are ok but they seem like GA b-sides (if you don't mind me saying). Work is pretty cool though IMO thats an unfair quote. TS are not trying to sound like GA in anyway, they are a five piece girl band but have a different sound jus like GA had to the Spice Girls. I love Girls Aloud and I love the Saturdays. I think Girls Aloud have a fantastic sound, and their b-sides are amazing, but the Saturdays also have an amazing sound, "Up" is a fantastic single, and one of the best original releases of 2008. "If this is love" is a fresh good-feel pop track, and "Issues" has a very catchy lyric and beat. I think its unfair to say their singles aren't great. Anyway, I predict THE LOVING KIND will climb back up to #12 or #13 by Sunday - it deserves another week at least inside the top 10, but that wont happen. ISSUES will fall to either #5 or #6 by sunday, but that will be made up by a #8,#9 or #10 placing for CHASING LIGHTS

January 21, 200917 yr Technically it's not a new peak though as it was #9 all through the mids when it was released..I am soo hoping it can stay there this time and reach a new peak come sunday :D I wonder if the album will continue to rise when Work is released late march/April?? lol...technically it IS a new peak because their official peak is of #11
January 21, 200917 yr The Saturdays will defo get another album now! Id imagine it could even sell 200,000 eventually especially if a forth single comes into fuision They've already started work on the second album. Chris Brown has apparently written a song for them!

January 21, 200917 yr hoping Franz Ferdinand go at least top 15 this week... Pumped that there is some indie at the top of the charts.....cant even remember the last one (Last Shadow Puppets?) Hmm...I'd hardly call White Lies indie - they're on Polydor and sound hugely generic.
