Posted February 14, 200916 yr The Brits 2009 http://www.brits.co.uk/news/british-single-phone-line-vot/ The Final 5 Singles of The Year remaining are: To vote for Coldplay – Viva La Vida call 09016 16 18 01 To vote for Duffy – Mercy call 09016 16 18 02 To vote for Girls Aloud – The Promise call 09016 16 18 03 To vote for Leona Lewis – Better in Time call 09016 16 18 04 To vote for Scouting for Girls – Heartbeat call 09016 16 18 05 Which of these five tracks do you think deserves to win?
February 14, 200916 yr I've been voting in this up until now. I was gutted that Estelle went out first, before the X Factor Finalists as that was my favourite by far. If I was to vote I'd go for Leona, like I have been, but I'm not paying to vote. I reckon Coldplay or GA have this in the bag. Coldplay have a lot of fans, GA have less, but more obsessive fans. Scouting For Girls making it is a bit of a shock, it's alright but not top 5 worthy at all. They should come last now the kids are less likely to be voting.
February 14, 200916 yr 01 Leona Lewis – Better in Time 02 Scouting for Girls – Heartbeat 03 Coldplay – Viva La Vida 04 Duffy – Mercy 05 Girls Aloud – The Promise
February 14, 200916 yr Heartbeat?? I vote Better In Time Edited February 14, 200916 yr by Chris_2k9
February 14, 200916 yr Heartbeat?? I can see this winning sadly :( My vote - The Promise, though I wish The Loving Kind was there!
February 14, 200916 yr Duffy should win on merit. It's not my favourite song, but it'd easily be up there with the defining songs of 2008. Viva La Vida is my favourite though, and I do honestly reckon either Duffy or Coldplay will end up winning.
February 14, 200916 yr I would like for either Better In Time, Mercy or The Promise. Truth be told i really prefert the other two to The Promise but i'd love for the girls to win an award. WTF at Heartbeat though
February 14, 200916 yr Better In Time  Although I am one of VERY FEW people who wouldn't mind SFG winning either :heehee:
February 14, 200916 yr I'd like Better In Time to win but I think GA's fanbase will guarantee The Promise does. It should really be Mercy as that was the biggest single but it probably won't win just like Bleeding Love didn't last year when that definitely should have won.
February 14, 200916 yr Leona won't she was snubbed last year, and what the fook is Heartbeat doing in that list. Duffy should win, or Girls Aloud.
February 14, 200916 yr I'd love for Leona to win, but i think it will be close between, Duffy, Coldplay and Girls Aloud, with Girls Aloud winning.
February 14, 200916 yr Coldplay! :snif: I'm with you Pav. Coldplay would get my vote. If they don't win it I want Girls Aloud to. Can't stand the Leona one - but I actually do think she will win it. Actually, 'can't stand' is too strong an expression ... I'm just not too fond of it (although it was heaps better than Bleeding Love). I really don't like the Duffy song - it sounds as though she's singing with cotton wool buds stuck up her nose. I can't even recall the SFG song! Norma Edited February 14, 200916 yr by Norma_Snockers
February 14, 200916 yr Heartbeat  it's the same as their other singles :heehee: The Promise to win please  although it won't, Coldplay or Duffy have it in the bag, probably Duffy
