Enrique and Ciara are growing on me amazingly well now, i adore it. I wish id given Darin some points though, i've only just realised Breathing Your Love's amazingness.

I'm starting to think that my dearest Ms Nicole will flop now as there is no buzz around it :(

I wouldn't worry about it...I haven't listened to VV Brown yet and Remi's song is excellent I just haven't commented on it before, I got her album in the January sales last year and it's brilliant :wub: Rock & Roll was a top 20 hit in my chart I think :D

 

songs from Mdice, Kopecka, Eledan, Nonsuch, Quotosibb etc... will always draw more attention as so much is constantly expected from these countries who never miss the final

 

FSR Rontvia used to be like this but then I missed the final twice and am on course for a flop this time to continue my pattern so I don't feel any pressure, although I will feel the pressure next month when I have to find a top 3 worthy entry :heehee:

My entries usually don't have much attention, if not at all! Except for Lenka back to BJSCXI. I don't think it is a bad sign. There just would always be entries that will have more discussion behind them. Plus, look at the example of VI! I agree it's the only case but anyway - there's always a dark-horse in the competition. Maybe this time it's YOU! (Addressed to everyone, not Juranamo or Aled. particularly :heehee: )

 

I do still think Rontvia could be on that list as well. Every Rontvian entry gets attention from some country at least. Kopecka/Mdice/Rontvia/Nonsuch/Quotosibb(no offense Aaron - but it's for that you can't choose the song by yourself and always ask the opinion. VI was your own decision. Maybe it's time to relaunch the tradition :kink: ).

Sound Of Arrows + no hype from me = 2nd place after appearing outside the top ten in many people's odds

Am I the only one who can't find any similarities between Darin and Enrique...Im talking musically...trust, its totally different ..at least I know because I used to overplay Darin on my iPod and im doing the same with Enrique :kink:...and if it was totally the same, I doubt that I would be listening to Enrique after over-played Darin.

Darin and Enrique aren't the same but the songs are similar as they are both a male/female duet and are RedOne produced so they have the same beat.

Oh I agree, the beginning of Breathing Your Love is really annoying, it only kicks in at the first chorus. Takin' Back My Love strikes you right away, I prefer it to Breathing Your Love.

Talking of hype - The Good Natured :lol:

 

It is surprising how you pay more attention to songs from certain countries, FSR Rontvia I alwas look forward to hearing (I'm usually disappointed but I live in hope :lol:), Mdice too (as they are more than likely to top ten) and Ashton (as I like the majority of Phil's entries) I think are the three I notice most

I must admit i tend to notice Rontvian entries more than any other. Mainly because i have only not given them points once.

 

(well twice. III coz it was $h!t, and XII coz i was in the wrong semi. Headhunted got 10 from me in the semi)

 

Entry's from KoS/Kopecka tend to get a bit of airtime in Ashton as they can quite often be good.
