Sleepyhead is just brilliant - if the rest are just 1/10th as good then it will be an amazing album!

As much as I like the EP, it would be silly sticking all six in. 6/11 = birrova sellout no?

 

Regardless muchos excitement for THIS one. This year be shaping up well on th'album front so far and I expect this to only further enhance woo yay etc.

The Reeling is streaming on their Myspace. Tis very nice.

Tis nice but it ain't half buried under a tonne of production...

I quite like it actually, it's different.

Loving the Reeling, and bought my tickets for the Heaven gig :)

Might actually be interested in buying this, 'Sleepyhead' has to be one of my fave songs of 2009 so far and 'The Reeling' sounds good too. We'll see...

'Manners' has leaked.

Three listens in an it's dire. Utterly soulless, robotic (in a bad way) and generally devoid of any personality. It's just BORING.

 

(Bar 'Little Secrets' which is obviously amazing...)

edit: Is the album really that bad? :( The 3 tracks i've heard are amazing, i can't decide between Little Secrets and Moth Wings :wub:.

Listened about three times now and I quite like it. All of the tracks are quite catchy and fun; 'Little Secrets' and 'To Kingdom Come' are my favourites. I would like to be able to here him sing a bit more though, the backing is a little loud sometimes I feel, or I maybe I'm just being a bit picky. :o I suspect it will grow as well.

This isn't very good on first listen.

I'm afraid I'm very disappointed by what I have heard so far.

 

It sounds over produced, lacking personality to my ears. :(

 

A shame as I had high expectations for this album.
