Credit Crunch I reckon. :(

:kink: do you usually book a ring-side seat for these?!?! ;)

Always Spiidey! Always! One could call me the Blanche Hunt of Buzzjack Street! In olden days I would probably have been one of those toothless old hags sitting with my knitting watching the beheadings of the aristocracy during the French Revolution!

shocked just shocked that the Sats are below Florida hopefully they will soon be #1 or #2 and the physicals will help them up, I know at least 20 people who pre-ordered the CD. I still think they will be #1, i hope.
People are probably realizing how $h!t 'Just Cant Get Enough' actually is, hence it stalling. You really can't compare 'Walk This Way' with it, just because it's a charity single, doesn't mean it'll go to no1. Some people care about what they listen to and wouldnt just be buying something of low quality just for THE sake of charity. .

I think people are forgetting how high the bundle for The Saturdays single is in the album charts.

That's probably why it's stalled for a bit. People are buying the whole thing for £1.99

^^ thats true, plus the video mix is also top 120, so that'll help.
Don't forget that Kelly Clarkson is also out on physical.. not that either the Saturdays or Kelly's physicals are likely to make much difference (if any). Kelly still has a huge lead on iTunes so I'd expect her to be No.1 in tomorrow's midweeks - however that may change by Sunday with the likely succeeder being Flo Rida at this rate.
^^ but the Sats is a charity single and most sales from charity single are from physicals.

They were in 2007, this is 2009. You cannot buy physicals anywhere unless you live in central London.

yes but all the supermarkets stock charity physicals.

Well has anyone actually seen the Saturdays single in supermarkets? I haven't been into town today so I didn't get a chance to look..

Alexandra was already bombing on iTunes yet was still Top 3 officially, due to her Physical.

Physicals DO affect Charity & Reality winners massively.

Charity singles are different. They will be available (As stated before) in Supermarkets. -_- I will be shocked if at least Half of The Saturday's sales aren't physicals.

The Sats haven't dropped in relative terms really - they've just been overtaken by Flo Rida who is gaining at a bigger pace. If their other mix @ #104 is added in, where does this put them in popularity bar terms (assuming #104 has the same popularity bar as #100)?

Have to say, JCGE isn't a great song IMO. I never liked the Depeche Mode version, I can just about stomach the Sats version but its the song I don't like. Love Up, Issues and If This Is Love. :)

Think its between Kelly and Flo Rida for #1 this week depending on how far Flo Rida continues to rise. Kelly still has a massive lead so will be interesting to see how close Flo can get, or indeed if he can overtake. Only chance Sats have is if their physicals are massive.

Not really a fair comparison given that X-Factor winners have a 'little' more exposure, no? I'd say a charity records physical sales in 2009 are without precedent yet so we don't truly know how well it will sell, but I'd very much doubt we're talking more than a couple of thousand in all honesty.

Prepare to eat those words by the end of the week. :P

Even U2's obsessive fanbase only managed to get them 4K sales in physicals.

as Kelly only sold 50k last week i doubt she can hold on with Florida bound to sell at least that on downloads and The Saturdays selling about 35-40k on downloads and another 10-15k on physicals.

For me it's between The Saturdays and Flo Rida, but i hope JCGE just has the edge. IMO this cover is much better than the original. Plus i'd love for them to get their first #1 rather than another Flo Rida dominance like last year.

The thing is with them being in at least the two most popular supermarkets, Tesco and Sainsbury's, most people won't go there to buy it but will see it and think ooh i might get that as it's only £2 and it's for charity and they will buy it for their kids thinking it will be cool like my mum has done many times before.
