Heard it once and haven't bothered listening since. It's AWFUL.

It's quite bland. A different single would be better.

Yay! I've been waiting to see this video for a while. Personally, I think the song is beautiful :). And the album is fantastic!

bland/boring. It's a bad remake of a couple of their good early songs without a decent hook...

This will probably do very well, especially as it appeals to the same people who bought The Kooks - Naive.

 

Prediction: No.5, but hanging around for ages.

The video is quite arty, but I like it, and I really like the song.

 

But then, I've not listened to much of anything by Snow Patrol, and if it sounds like all their other stuff then I wouldn't really know. ; )

A beautiful ballad but will it be successful as a single?? I would be over the moon with a No.10, lol

European Bands tend to do that, Placebo's lead single in the US was "Song To Say Goodbye" (for me one of their best songs so far).

 

Maybe they thought they'd do better with a ballad in the States. Their follow-up in the US is "Eyes Open" I think.

I love this song, it's so gorgeous. I'm not quite sure if it's up there with the brilliance of 'Chocolate' and 'Spitting Games' yet, but I'll see how I feel after hearing it more.

Its a very beautiful song and Gary Lightbody is a very beautiful man :wub: He is lovely and I love that video.

THIS IS A GREAT track and deserves to be at least a top 10 hit
