Well, Rich has stated that a good reason will be needed for a song change after confirmation, so it's up to him, but I doubt that would be enough...

 

And anyway, the MF rule was nothing other than a hold over from the NSC - which doesn't actually benefit me seeing as I don't intend to send ESC NF songs anytime soon, but know that several others do. The repeated artist rule is actually for the good of the contest and makes a great deal of sense - what would the contest gain at all from allowing people to send the same artist all the time? :/

On the contrary, the controversy that this has all spawned makes it impossible for me not to care - this isn't a change which drastically affects the contest or anyone in particular, it's merely a protest from Boyan who doesn't like the contest moving further away from the NSC - but I think it's time for us to accept that this is not the NSC, and what works over there may not necessarily work here...why is there such a controversy over removing the ban of the final three nations' NF's when people moaned that not all of the NFs were unbanned in the first place?! :rolleyes:
