I have not been this excited for a movie in a long time. Judging by the previews it looks like it will be f***ing AWESOME.

I'm going to go see it opening night March 27th!

I saw a TV adaption of this not too long ago (I think it was October-ish) on Living TV, and I really enjoyed it I was a little scared too. So will be interesting to see what they do with it to make it adapt to the big screen :o So I will definately be going to watch this sometime when it's released :D
I dunno, it all looks pretty standard haunted house horror stuff to me, dont really see a reason to get all worked up about it going by the trailer.... How is this essentially any different to stuff like the Amityville Horror (serious question by the way for folks who saw the Telly adaption).....?

I think the piano just makes it seem amazing. Not to mention I just love horror films.

Here's to hoping this one is a good one.

I saw the trailer for it yesterday and for some reason i couldnt help but draw comparisons to The Messengers

Hopefully this is better -_-

THIS FRIDAY!

I'm so f***ing excited. My best friend and I are going to go see this for her birthday, we are OBSESSED with horror films. Hopefully I won't be dissapointed.

This looks really scary in the annoying way when you know when every jump is coming so you spend most of the film with your ears plugged.

This was $h!t, probably because I had really high expectations. It had alot of potential but whoever wrote the end of it completely ruined the movie.

Extremely average "haunted house", Amityville style movie.... Certainly NOT what it's cracked up to be... About the only thing to recommend it is a good, strong central performance from Virginia Madsen.... Martin Donovan was simply dreadful in the role of the "nasty dad", just way too much of an utter p*ssy to actually convince us for a moment that he could suddenly turn on his family like the genuinely scary performance James Brolin put on in the original 'Amityville Horror'..... The young actor who played the kid with cancer wasn't much cop either tbh.... And Elias Koteas was just all at sea trying to convince us that his character was anywhere near as well developed or well written Father Merrin from 'The Exorcist'.....

All in all, really not a particularly good film..... 4/10

Not the best of films but MOTHER SWEET FUDGINGS I HAD HEART ATTACKS. I dont know if it was watching it alone in the dark or just me being paranoid, but my fudge i had about 10 heart attacks during this film. At first i thought they were going to go down the "Yes the boy is just hallucinating and we'll just bang him in a psycho ward and everything will go back to normal" route but im glad they didnt. But yes every 5 minutes i was like FFS NO MORE BODIES POPPING OUT FROM NOWHERE. I love horror films, but i swear they will be the death of me. The dad was a bit wtf and pointless lol He didnt do anything to the plot didnt move it anywhere and i really wouldnt have noticed a difference if he werent in the film altogether. And yes i did notice a few similarities with the priest from The Exorcist

Jesus Joao, did you have, like, 4 double Espressos or summat before you saw this film, because, for me, that's pretty much the only way by which this rubbish would keep you "on edge"......

Im incredibly paranoid and flinch whenever something comes at me or when something jumps out from nowhere so  I love horror films but i hate that i always flinch at them :P Before i go into a horror film i always say to myself alright im not gonna flinch and then i dont flinch until the last 10 mins or so -_- But yes because this film used the cliched "dead bodies jumping from the dark" trick, i flinched just a few hundred times :P I got it from my mums side of the gene pool :(
