Let's call the 'Cheap' function (shortly, C) the function that finds the value of cheapness of the song...

C(Snalla Snalla) > C(Jai Ho)

This is being proved very easily... -_-

This made no sense to me...

Its strange how I've fallen in love today, and been listening non stop all day, just like you have.

And to make more sense, just say cheap if you feel like it.. its more simple :P

You haven't been around lately...

But that was sarcasm etc anyway :heehee:

I try to follow 'less debates more music' rule :teresa:

I don't know why, but I was expecting Scherz to change to "Jai Ho!" since he had PCD confirmed. I do love it but it's sitting at #6 on iTunes already with a week until confirmation even closes. I wont complain however, it's rather fabulous.

edit: it looks like it's a live version, instantly less cheap imo.

Ugh, Jai Ho with the Pussycat Dolls. Original > PCD.

This isn't a dig at its cheapness or anything, I just love the Slumdog soundtrack and think PCD kill it. :( SORRY.

I only used a performance because videos aren't available in the UK anymore.

What about alternative videos? :teresa: I don't think I should have encouraged that.

haha  I just record myself singing Snälla, Snälla, Snälla, Snälla on Swedish and Norwegian xD

Agreed... The original song would have been a contender for my 12 points but now that i have heard the version with PCD I should agree...

Plus they were instantly saying "Jay Ho" instead of "Jai Ho" :heehee:

I liked both versions...the Slumdog soundtrack is really fantastic  the film was very good too, I wonder how many people outside the UK picked up on the 'Kat, Zoe and Anthony' Eastenders bit :heehee:

J'ai Ho isn't especially you-know-what... for a song so high in the charts/itunes, it's had fairly minimal exposure so far.

This contest is also much less ykw than the last, but a couple of entries are still a bit wtf? - Saturdays and Gaga specifically...

:snif: Well, that's okay, because i'm getting into YYY's very fast lately :cheer: Zero is epic
'Hysteric' is better. Serious LOVE for that. Still, 'Heads Will Roll' is amazing.

I still have a change available don't i?

Country: Republique d'Ashton

I thought you had changed Addicted To Bass -> Stuck In A Groove. Or do we get another change now we're with Aaron?

Aaron has given us all a change regardless of whether we have changed in the other thread or not.

I couldn't sit on this for another month, and reaching 15 without a single male entrants is rather shameful.

I think Ashton become the last of the 100% participation countries to send a male

oh my god :o a male from Ashton! And another Icelandic singer, we must have broken the record for those in one contest, unless Bjork and Sigur Ros appeared together at one point :heehee:

I really like that song too Phil, hope it does well for you :D I would have given Puretone points as it's one of my favourite songs ever, but I always rate great new discoveries very highly too :cheer:

Tell me about it! I was randomly blog searching for the first time and came across a write up with a link to his myspace. I didn't think i'd like it being male and all but i was shocked. I  it.

I forgot miss Torrini was Icelandic.

Haffi Haff was in the Icelandic NF in 2008 with a different song. Something i found out after i'd ripped the audio :heehee:
