I don't even think that's really needed as a requisite - I'm confident that the person I replied to Jester with will do a good job as moderator, provided they accept the conditions offered ^_^

On the other hand, the moderating team shouldn't be a bunch of yes men, you need a little bit of conflicting opinions and debate between them. For example, I think you, The Fear and Trashlexis would make great moderators as individuals but you're rather hive minded together which doesn't work so well. (and is perhaps why this whole situation happened)

 

I don't see why the moderators debating (different from arguing) is being perceived as a bad thing. :unsure:

I would actually claim that we never had arguments as such in the first place - it all seemed like perfectly healthy debate to me until a rather oversensitive newcomer believed I was dismissing his entry altogether and campaigned to ban my claims :/
