Posted March 23, 200916 yr The Currency used within Republique d'Ashton is the Ashtonise Dollar which is worth 1000cents. Ash$1 can currently buy you: £641.66 A$1347.47 (Australian Dollars) $834.16 705.82 Euros. The extremly high exchange rate is due to the recent economic crisis. Previously the Ash$ was worth £13.11 and $18.22.
March 23, 200916 yr Dalisska's currency is the Dallato 1 Dallato = 45.00 Lirabots 60.00 Ash$ I don't really know if I'm doing it right but oh well Edited March 23, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
March 23, 200916 yr Author Given that Ash$1 is £641 some people have very high expectations of their curency. Ashton is yet to be affected by the financial crisis and is one of the few BJSC nations left unaffected. so surely the Ash$ would be one of the strongest curencys?
March 23, 200916 yr The Rontvian currency is the Rontvian Kroner of course! With an exchange rate of £1 = 100 Rontvian Kroner so to buy the Andreas Johnson greatest hits album, it would set you back roughly 500 Rontvian Kroner (£5)...music is very cheap in Rontvia
March 23, 200916 yr The Kopeček Čereket operates on an exchange rate of Č1 to £49.44 as of the latest exchange rate update, having been unaffected by the economic crisis but now currently considered to be in danger of falling into a recession in the near future with consumer confidence low (with the peak rate being Č1 to £64.32 in Nov 2008). Talks have been underway since early 2008 to convert to a continent-wide currency for Miskantha to be known as the Kanthum, which is not as strong as the Čereket but would give greater scope for trade with other nations, as Kopeček exports are notoriously expensive (but not as expensive as the prohibitively priced Ashtonise exports, which would lead to economic failure in Ashton were they not self-sufficient in much of their produce). The Kanthum is pegged to the Mdičen Dičar of October 2008, which operated at a rate of Dč1 to £6.77
March 23, 200916 yr Author We don't tend to import much :smoke: Ashton currently uses 5 curencys truth be told. It is hoped all can be merged into the Ashlar by 2010
March 23, 200916 yr 1 TIK (Tinnsk Krone) = 102.77 Ash$ Tinnmark as I have said earlier, is one of the richest country in Buzzjack World. Tinnmark have not been affected by the economic crisis. Only lower rent and low gasprices seems to be affected by the economic crisis.
March 23, 200916 yr The Quotosibb currency is boring LOL we use the £ here. So we're in a rut at the moment, production of Beverley Knight's anti-wrinkle cream, our biggest export, has been cut down. The people of Buzzjack are beginning to look older. :drama:
March 23, 200916 yr In Juranabaijan we use the Juranamese Yen. 1790*JY = £1 £5.00p CD should cost 8950*JY, but due to inflation etc. will set you back 26952*JY (or £15.06p). Juranabaijan is really feeling the Credit Crunch at the moment. It is also reported that the Juranamese Yen may be re-named the KFC Yen in the nearby future, if KFC's help is still needed in Juranabaijan. It is also reported that Juranabaijan may have to pull out of the 15th edition of the BuzzJack Song Contest due to financial problems. Reportedly, Mayor Juranamo "doesn't have the time for fundraising due to other commitments schoolwork" It is hoped the Juranabaijan can find the funds to participate in this coming week. HEAT Baijan©

March 23, 200916 yr The Great Shadowan Pound (GSP) is still looking rather strong at the moment, the Kingdom of Shadow's economy is built on the now thriving cake industry which was revived last year by King Bruno CXVIII after the 1,000 year depression. Infact the GSP is now stronger than ever with current exchange rates being £1GSP to about £3 (GBP) €3.2 (EUR) $4.4 (USD) $6,000 (AUD) The GSP also features Dame Maggie Berger... http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3908/pound.jpg
