No! My husband said 'who the feck talks into a phone like that?'

Norma

Well she probably wont win, he isnt usually a fan of the females and the one he did hire through this quickly left. I don't think it was down to Mona, they had the potential to win but the other girls did a useless job so they didn't get do to the other half of the deal. If they put more effort into doing the 4 cars they wouldn't even have been in the firing room, let alone squabbling over which 'side' made the more money.

but m8, its all 'ifs' and 'buts'... they have to deal with the facts and not 'ifs' and 'buts'.

Oh yeah, I think that's right actually. Hopefully we get to see more of her in the next few weeks instead of her fading in.

I disagree, he was right to fire one of the girls on 'the other team'. If they were capable of cleaning cars properly they would have got the other 10 cars and they may have won the task. They didn't try hard enough, I couldn't believe how useless they were. The same for the boys, how is leaving some yellow fluff on the interior acceptable for a paid job?

I'm pretty sure the grubby marks on the girls cars and the yellow fluff were put there by the series producers and crew to make them look even more incompetent (not that they needed much help). Lets face it ... as an audience ... we wanted to see them make a pigs ear of things didn't we? Otherwise ... what would we be talking about?

As I said ... this is a comedy/drama program ... not a reality show.

Norma

These women are vicious! They all speak over each other. :arrr:

Oh dear! I think Howard has made himself some enemies among the other boys for next week! When he got back to the house he said the wrong three were in the boardroom and 'it was one of you four' that should have gone and not Rocky!' What's this ... some backbone from one of them .... so early?

Norma

That episode was SHEER brilliance, all the way through, You're Fired afterwards too. Highlights were undoubtedly Kate pitching the food - "bruschetta is... always a favourite", eyes AGOG - and Margaret commenting that "somebody slipped a hair into one of the salads, to compensate" Utterly wonderful. Also James on You're Fired about weeing in the boardroom, "but just a little bit". I HOWLED.

"bruschetta is ... erm ... always a favourite" was the moment of my DAY, not just that hour!

I can't believe Rocky went - the five of us watching spend the whole boardroom discussing how he was the only half competent one in the final 3!!

You're Fired was CLASSIC LOL

What Sir Alan said though was quite true about Rocky. He'll be a very good businessman someday, but he's not quite ready yet. He picked the wrong people for the boardroom and it was naive of him to do that which is what cost him with Sir Alan imo.

But then who else should he have picked? To be honest, of the four men who escaped the boardroom, I can't see that any of them deserved it either, barring the comment Nick made on Noorul.

I felt sorry for Rocky, although I see what they meant about him not being ready yet. There was an air of nervousness about him, particular when you stood him next to the more assertive Philip (who is a thoroughly unpleasant arse but seems bound to go a long way) and Ben.

James didn't seem that bad in the task, but was a DISASTER in the boardroom. We have found this year's comedy contestant. I hope he lasts a little longer.

Yasmina was an utter bitch. One minute "If you want to say something, just interrupt and say it", the next "sssh, I haven't finished". Erm...OK love. Their food did look rank, and they can't blame it all on the cheap ingredients.

Highlights of the week;

Sirallun having to remind James not to leave the boardroom.

James taking his boardroom nomination as if someone had knifed his mother and raped his sister. "I'm very HURT". Are you sure you're on the right show mate?

Kate's car-crash sales presentation. And the reactions of Margaret and the woman client.

Nick commenting on "bare arms and spotty backs", and the camera then cutting straight to Ben who seems quite in love with himself

And you know, I think head-in-hands Margaret must become my new avatar.

agreed, rocky is pretty impressive for a lad of his age and he is already a successful businessman... but not yet ready for the big league..

plus im sure sirallun has a brief 'not to sack the more contraversial members first'... so like last week, the 2 too escape were the ones who have some tv entertainment mileage in them.

....... oh and i was gobsmacked that them wrap things were so bloody BAD. you cant con the countries top businessmen with half filled wraps... they expect the best, not 'make do'.
Those businessmen were fussy. Someone found a hair and it seemed like everyone wanted to crowd round and take a look at 'the horror'.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks Howard is hot. My sister was repulsed at the suggestion!

Howard = repulsive. He looks like a fish, a big gawping fish.

Phil and Kate are the only remotely attractive ones.
