100% RIGHT, Jark my man, whatever Lorraine did she couldn't win! Maybe she shouldn't been a tad more positive once it was all settled but for Philip to say 'well you didn't make it clear you didn't like it til two hours before the end' is an out and out LIE - she was the ONLY one to say she wasn't convinced and at least try to offer something different. She couldn't win!

I don't understand this "Lorraine does nothing but moan" crapola. It was a bad idea, she said it was a bad idea, she got shot down. Then in the boardroom she was shot down for not telling anyone she had an issue with the product earlier. Well, um, she did, and everybody shot her down.

I agree with this. And then Kim (?) turned around and said "you did nothing!" and Lorraine was all "Well, I thought I started eight arguments..." - Or something like that. ^_^

I loved that moment. For a split second there was a pure look of 'Oh, well now I look a tit...' etched on Kim's face.

Yeah but my point is, fair enough if wasn't too happy with the idea, but after they'd pretty much finalised everything she was still moaning. Obviously if anything, this made matters worse, by making the rest of the team unhappy, as Kim rightly said. So by moaning about what they'd done wrong, she only made the overall outcome worse, therefore being responsible for the failure of the task imo!

She was "still moaning" because somebody ASKED if everybody was happy and she, being honest, said no...

It was doomed from the minute dozy Kim decided to be bullied into accepting Phil's ridiculously unfunny, unproductive, and lets face it - plain 'pants' of an idea! And am I the only one to pick up on Margaret's comment about Phil? He still, even at the end of the day, could not accept that his idea was $h!te? Are all Estate Agents as thick and humourless as this?

Out of those three in the final countdown ... it was quite right that Lorraine was not fired - I don't really like her ... but she was spot-on on this one!

Norma

Agreed and that is why i would have fired Phil, his bully tactics to get his $h!te idea through, and then actually believing it was a good idea after he'd seen the other teams and they'd lost.

Muppet.

If only Howard was wearing nothing but those pants :naughty:

Lorraine though :puke2: Really hope she goes soon.

I can't believe what outright KNOBS they're being to Lorraine this week (I'm watching as I type...)

She hates the idea, perfectly clear. Then when someone says 'is everyone happy' and she says no, they're trying to make out she's a bitch, for saying what she's said the whole way through?! Ughhh.

FINALLY caught up on week 5...

I thought that was Phil not Kim?

You're quite right. If they'd asked Phil right there and then, he'd have refused to admit it was a dreadful idea. AWFUL.

Howard is vile looking. Absolutely vile.

Anyway, week 5...

To be honest the right person probably went. Phil was an absolute arse this week, getting his own way with a DREADFUL idea by threatening to sulk if he didn't. I'm glad Nick and Margaret have sussed him out. Phil is a fine worker if people agree with him, an aggressive destructive arse if he doesn't. He's not the right person to have in a TEAM at all; very much someone who should be working for and by himself.

Like Ben, he needs to calm down a lot if he wants to be taken on by Sirallun.

But Kimberley made two big errors.

1.) Allowing Phil to bully his way to the forefront

2.) Bringing Lorraine back to the boardroom. She missed a trick with Noorul; Sirallun and Nick have been gunning for him for some time now.

I can see how having Lorraine on your team isn't necessarily a pleasant experience. But she was quite right. She made it clear all throughout (no matter how Phil tried to paint it in the boardroom) that she didn't like the idea, but she was completely shouted down and ignored by Phil and the others.

On the other hand, there is also a time and a place to voice those sort of concerns. The brainstorming session...yes. Day two having filmed the advert and created the packaging...not so much. That's when it turns from constructive criticism to plain negativity.

Kate's got to be a frontrunner now surely? Probably the most calm, effective team performance in a long time on the show?

I'm also beginning to come round to James. Clearly he's not the best in the boardroom, and his mouth does lead him into trouble. But in the past couple of weeks his strengths are starting to become evident. He's the anti-Phil/Lorraine/Ben. Not necessarily the brightest or toughtest tool in the box, but he's got good people skills and a positive attitude. He's the sort of person who's GREAT for team morale.

Put the good sides of James and Phil together and you could have the IDEAL Apprentice.

Kate is good at selling, yes, but I don't know that she's up to much elsewhere and I don't think she's that bright. We'll see...
So far it basically appears to be a 2 horse race between Yasmina and Kate

I'd put that to the test. :kink:

I'd say she showed some strong leadership skills aswell; her team was organised and efficient, but she didn't have to resort to being an aggressive dictator to do it as others have (Yasmina).

I think Yasmina, of what we've seen so far, is the strongest candidate by far... she was dictatorial, just no-nonsense, and my God it worked (and there was no resentment within the team either). I'm really rooting for her to win.

Assertiveness and decisiveness are good qualities, dictatorial however is not.

I havn't decided who I want to win yet. I did want Phil to win until his stupid Pant Man idea... .

If I had to pick someone now it would probably be Kate.

Thing that is buggin me though, NONE of them seem to be good at all LMAO. I don't think I would hire anyone from this series. I'd say this year seems to be about who the most entertaining is.... and I know its an Entertainment programme but there should be someone brilliant in there LOL

I meant 'she wasn't dictatorial'. Obviously I wouldn't think that a good quality! Except in the case of Hitler. He was a diamond.

To be fair, what he achieved was awful, but he achieved a hell of a lot. Can't say he wasn't a competent leader...
