Lorraine needs to just be put down right now.

Kate FTW!

I loved Phil but the last two weeks have seen him really just dig his own grave to be frank... He has so much potential but his stubborn side and sheer arrogance killed him off. :(

I didn't like him at the beginning, but I remember him standing up for Lorraine (when she was in the right for once...), whcih I admired him for. But since then, like you say, his arrogance really has been his downfall. Especially in the boardroom of last week's episode!

Speaking of Lorraine, I was watching some of the out-takes on iPlayer and they're just TOO funny. From watching the show I didn't think Lorraine had any distinctive sort of accent, but in a few episodes she just flashes into some Irish bagwoman, she's the broadest Irish-person i've ever heard.

I prefer the gay concept (the poster looks great!) but now they have buggered up the leaflet, I fear they may lose :(

Debra is very arrogant today  Lorraine merely wanted to express her opinion on a crap poster!

Debra deserves to go for her dictatorial arrogance, especially regarding the leaflet adding all that information.

But as this is the politically correct BBC surely Mona is toast.

You know, if I were doing that poster, I would have had Mar-GAY-te! at the top, with a picture of 2 couples at the front (back view) - ie 2 men and two women sort of with head on each others shoulders, with the beach, sea and blue sky. That would have been far more effective than those many posters.

Debra to go!!

SNAP! I was thinking that exactly. And for the team that had the 'family' theme - 'Kids, Pa & Ma Gate'. To be honest - there really wasn't too much wrong with the pictures - it was all that bloody text - Howard hit the nail on the head when he said he wanted four or five words for the posters. And they should have been 'up front' or 'up sea-front' about the white space on the leaflets.

Nice ideas, Norma! They missed so many opportunities with it <_>

I was thinking MarGAYte too, but I can't imagine Sir Alan going for it :heehee:

Great shame that Mona had to go. I feel like if Sir Alan was judging on this task alone then Debra should've gone, because she barely did any work and what she did do was pretty poor. Mona did what was asked of her so I don't quite understand the implication that she resented being there. I did have a great laugh when she was speaking to the soon-to-be transexual though :heehee: Awkward!

Hard one. They were all reasonably strong candidates when taking previous tasks into account, Debra probably the most so, but Mona would be easier to work with which surely should be factored in. I played along on the predictor game on the website, and when Debra made her boardroom choices, 66% had her down as going compared with just 16% for Mona. Debra should've left.

The losing team should have got Mika to update this classic:

Chas N Dave - Down To Margate

:D

Eugh why did Debra survive? AGAIN? :arrr:

Yes, Mona may be naive, but those posters that Debra made - what was she thinking?

Mona and James were my top 2. I really hope James doesn't get fired for a while... :(

I'm glad Mona (monner) went. The theme was a good idea, but they were so out of their depth it was unreal. Howard was somewhat at fault though, as he should have been much more involved with it. Still, Ben survives to show us his chest hair another day :kink:
I had a powercut right at the start LOL. Going to watch it on I-Player now.

I loved this...

Yasmina [to Lorraine]: What do you think?

Lorraine: Well, I don't like them...

Yasmina: STOP YELLING YOU'RE GIVING ME A HEADACHE. *

:nocheer:

*not exactly how it all played out, but that was the general gist...

I love Yasmina but she did seem to over-react. Obviously not one to disagree with when stressed!

Ahaha, I think Mar-gay-te would have been a bit naff. It looks a bit like a childish insult for the name of the town, rather than a positive message, if you get what I mean?

You're right on the posters though, something really simple and effective was needed. Debra should have gone, Howard seemed to be going for reducing the amount of words on there but she really wasn't having it. Then the leaflet that a 12 year old could have done seemed mostly down to her. I know they must have heavily edited the Mona bits, but they made it looks like she still took part depite any disagreements with the cause. Her with the t***** was funny, he was quite convincing on first glance.
