I disagree when you say it's gone downhilll. Sure 2007's BB was a waste of time with a lot of unlikeable people and anyone decent was gone by week 4 but last years, well last years was possibly my favourite series of Big Brother to date tbh and was definalty the best of the last 5 series.

I agree with you to an extent, it did have some of my fave personalities in it last year (Bex, Sara, Lisa, Stephanie) :wub: But the winner was so vile and that whole clique of Rex, Kat, Darnell and Mohammed were beyond vile imo. It's always better at the start when we have all the decent personalities in.

Ah, i'll agree with you on that. The only negative about last years BB was the fact that the horrid 5 (B Block) all got to the final week.

I'll probably watch the first night to see what loons go in and then just not care about it anymore. BB is dead, it should have been finished when it was in its heyday.

Its quite strange that the show could well possibly end on series 11,i was sure they would end it on 10 but im delighted to be getting an extra year,i also think when it does end there will be a dvd of series hihjlights of all 11 which would be great as im sure we would get to see every contestant from startto finish

I hope BB 11 is a best of the top 10 so they can at least go out on a bit of a high

Well the last successful series was in 2006. Hopefully BBUSA carries on for even longer. Series 11 this year :yahoo:

I always assumed that after they saw series 1 was a success, they would have it as a clause of contract from series 2 onwards - they'd have been stupid not to, I've been thinking of a Champion of Champions series from S3.... If they have to convince Craig and maybe Brian to take part, I don't think they would have much issue, Craig was on that Escape from Takeaway Prison malarkey lately and Brian presents The Mint or something.

Started the same year as BBUK and there were 2 in 2008 :o.

The Big brother forumula is getting tired....but I'd prefer if they thought of a new angle for the show...something outside the box. Instead of just stopping the show :/

i agree if they change the format around a bit it could go on for years aswell as casting the right people

I didn't see any of it last year - and I didn't see much of it in 2007 - and I actually enjoyed those two summers. If only the weather was good as well.

 

And just think: the world's poorest excuse for a newspaper Daily Star will have to find something else to write about - and put on its front page - all summer long in 2011.

It ran out of steam years ago, whatever steam it did have. I welcome this and I hope it's the start of a curbing of all reality shows in the mainstream. This kind of cheap crap is ok on digital channels but it should never pass from prime time.

Presumably in the first week of June or last week of May. There's nothing about it on the Channel 4 website yet and I've just realised the forums over there have been shut down. :(
