I hope it's true that they're releasing Sweet Dreams in Europe. Sweet Dreams and Radio are the only singles left off this album.

I take back everything I have ever said about 50 Cent and others, this is officially the biggest pile of Ear rape I've ever heard :/

I have liked the slower songs from this era for Beyonce - this is just good God! How the hell can she think this is a song?

I'm in a minority thinking this is easily better than the last three slices of ear-rape she's released. I can actually listen to this without wanting to vomit.
I think if you give it a chance and listen to it a few times you will grow to love it... happened to me.
lol... I don't understand the vitriol being flung at this song. In the US, the reception was actually decently good, but here.... . I personally think it's a decently good track. Probably not the best single choice, but still an okay song to listen to (although of the more "urban" sounding songs on the album, Videophone takes the cake  )
Diva is a decent song and most of you wouldn't really understand it. This is more for the American public cos that sort of music is big over there. British people won't get it but i still think top 20, possibly top 10.

Each to their own, but I genuinely think it's the worst song I've ever been subjected to that was sung by an artist I like. It's not even a song. It's... it makes me want to cut my arms and bleed. That would be a preferable scenario to sitting through Diva.

I think it will get a release, but only a download only. It will probably peak top 20 only, I can't see it top 10... -_-

Haha same. Well I actually prefer 'Halo', but I much prefer this to 'Single Ladies' and 'If I Were a Boy'.

Sill wouldn't say I'm a big fan of the song though!

I'm shocked this appears to be happening :\ Way to ruin her recent run of successes. I admit I detested 'Single Ladies' for ages but now I love it because it's so catchy. 'Diva' I don't think will ever grow on me. Top 40, probably.
Bloody hell and I thought 'Boom boom pow' was one of the worst songs I've heard in a while. This is absolutely dreadful, honestly one of the worst songs I have ever had the pain of hearing. It's just awful garbage.

Diva is hardly direr than My Life Would Suck Without You, I Do Not Hook Up or Hoedown Throwdown. :manson:

I can’t see it being her most commercially successful single here; it’s good to see her pushing the boundaries with her sound. A strong European dance remix could do wonders for it. :)

In her defense (defence?) it is good to see her not releasing an incredibly bland and sentimental If I Were A Boy-esque song -_-, although i think saying that it takes some getting used to is the kindest way possible i can describe it.

Um, Single Ladies?

Agreed. Other than the obviously-minor differences of Kelly's music having vocals that go beyond speak-singing, infectious and up-to-date production, and actual recognisable melodies, there are as dire as one another.

I definitely agree on the last one.

I don't understand how people can say 'Diva' is the worst song ever when there are songs around like 'Hoedown Throwdown'...

Great track, but I'm not sure it's suitable for a release in the UK. If you're a fan of the swagger shtick, nobody does it better than Beyonce and "Diva" proves that.

Oh, and while this didn't break any chart records in the US, it most certainly didn't flop. I wouldn't call a #1 on Urban radio (the market this song was catered to) a flop.
