Hahaha - citing the fact that she wrote for PCD, Britney, Fergie - makes me cringe even more.

As some critic said recently, 'she is like a cartoon character - and in such appeals to people who like cartoons'

Sounds like I really hate which is not the case, she is just not very interesting, and feels like she is the corporate industry answer to whats really exciting in todays music scene... cue LaRoux, Little Boots, Bat For Lashes......

Gaga is a commercial artist, no-one can deny that. But she wears her influences on her sleeve, and yet she manages to mix them up in a colourful, engaging way and straddle all genres. Like someone said earlier, she's a huge crossover artist, and appeals to many markets, including dance, pop, and urban.

I sort of agree Calvin would be a good number one, maybe it would bring about a dance revival. But Gaga is no less deserving.

because la roux's song's in the chart twice, will both sales be put together or will both songs be in the final chart separately?

I suppose, yes, they are put together, that's why La Roux @ #4 in today's official midweeks.

Definitely added. That's how she jumped from #11-#7 from the Friday mids last week to Sunday's chart, and that's how she's #4 in the midweeks today.

Apparrently Gaga's next single in the UK has been confirmed by Radio 1 - as Paparazzi (from Pulse).
Bat For Lashes should be higher, its amazing.

I assume you're loving the album Martin?

Listened to it yesterday and it's extremely interesting musically, but her voice is so affected it wa like nails on a blackboard for me.

As what I expect at this update.

Mraz could challenge the Top 10 but that's very unlikely. ;)

'I'm Not Alone' is a brilliant tune, but as said earlier, it's less original. :)

Its OK, I haven't really taken to it just yet, some of the tracks need a bit listening to, but Glass is amazing.

I really hope so, i love that song!

I really hope Paparazzi isn't the next song, I really don't like it for some reason. I was hoping for Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.

Well, I hope BDR is the 4th single in UK. :D

BDR is crap, sorry. Paparazzi is the best choice as its a much stronger song with a huge appeal. Paparazzi, Starstruck and Lovegame are the songs she needs to release
