There's something odd about the midweek charts - particularly Calvin. I just don't believe he's at #4 in the midweeks given he's already top of iTunes. I think data is missing.

Not so sure, in the MW report it says La Roux has substantial gains, but that could mean anything

But he only got there today, and GaGa has been there since before Sunday - and the others (Jai Ho etc) have been above him until earlier. So, I was expecting him to be lower on this update, but no doubt he will be 2/1 by Thursday!

I agree - I didn't expect him to be @ #1 either today - I thought #2 then overtaking Gaga in tomorrow's mids.

However, I'm surprised he's below Jai Ho and La Roux given previous rises up iTunes and their first mid-week chart position.

Also, I'm surprised Jai ho is above Noisettes - particularly as Noisettes now have the Now 72 effect as well. It just looks odd.

Why is it just AR Rahman listed at 2?

If you take out PCD's bits, it's just him shouting "Jai Ho".

It's a PCD single, it's being promoted by PCD and it's on their album.

I think they should be included.

La Roux are as high as what I expect. :o

Calvin will overtake at least one or two songs tomorrow methinks. ;)

Great for Bat for Lashes too. :yahoo:

The single needs to be Top 40. :)

A.R. Rahman and PCD feat. Nicole whateverherlastnameis. ;)

But Radio 1 sometimes just say A.R. Rahman.

And I think there's a version of Jai Ho! that's just him so yeah, it should say 'A.R. Rahman and PCD' ;)

not on Doll Domination, unless they rereleased it? Is it on the Slumdog OST though (without their vocals?). He's the composer, the song is more than just vocals so fair enough surely :)

Don't think the Liverpool song will get that high - most of the sales will be from the club's online store and shops in the city and I doubt they're chart eligible.

I did that for quickness forgot to back to add the dolls to it.

The track is on the OST Slumdog Millionaire album, but without the dolls on it.

Yeah, it might be why it isn't No. 1 atm despite guaranteed 19k sales. ;)

Yes, good point. Looks like my #2 prediction in Ben's game is going to be WAY off :o :(

You seem to like most of the retro acts from the 80s, Ultravox are one of my 80s fave acts, grew up listening to all the new romantic era. Next on the agenda will be Depeche Mode in a few weeks with their album release

Their album at 11+11+11=

I grew up listening to all the new romantic era.

Me too.

The Pet Shop Boys are my fave band.

But I loved the new romantics & early synth pop:

Spandau, Numan, New Order, Duran Duran, ABC, Soft Cell, John Foxx/Ultravox, Yazoo, Depeche.....

Thanks for the Ultravox info.

Thanks.

Yes it is actually, its just fallen a place from last week.

My predictions (after last week's disasterous forecast of Noisettes being number 1).

1) Poker Face

2) Calvin

3) A R Rehman & PCD's

4) Noisettes

5) La Roux

I think the Liverpool Collective will be number 8.

I wish videos were available more easily on iTunes cos I'm desperate for Ciara/Justin and Girl's Aloud new one but it's not on there bloody rubbish iTunes are.
Eoghan so high in albums??? Good grief!!

I was surprised to see him that low to be honest, but pleased. He'll definitely be following in the footsteps of Same Difference.

YAY for Yeah Yeah Yeahs in the albums, I hope they can keep a top 5 place at least.
