April 12, 200916 yr I didn't do too bad in the semi! That discriminates against those who want to wait for the outcome of the NF vote. Hence the decision Trash, Tom and I took to push confirmation back by a few days. Patience people please!! How does it? I'm not being funny but people are trying to secure their entries (e.g. Booty Luv) and have to stress because a few people want to wait for NF votes. Let's face it... if people were against NF, it would be winning the poll now!

Patience people please!! But doesn't that discriminate against the people who aren't really interested in the nf result and want to reserve/confirm like they usually would? I'm just saying I don't see why the nf poll really has to delay anything.....but maybe that's just me. Edited April 12, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
April 12, 200916 yr Surely people who want to send acts from National Finals can still reserve them anyway? Afterall there's nothing against sending the act, just the song. And if they're not allowed the reservations can simply be dropped... :|

If country X was torn between an NF song and Booty Luv, then opening the thread before the end of the poll would disadvantage them because they'd be waiting for the result while all their non NF back-ups get taken by other countries, which would be us discriminating against the minority who want to know the outcome. Which last time i checked was 18-13 for the NF rule being withdrawn. The Booty Luv race is hardly more important then changing a big rule.
April 12, 200916 yr Author 113 points in the Semi <_< Anyone who has been active on Buzzjack and has not submitted votes before the deadline Finalist or not, will automatically be barred from entering XVI as per the rules. There may be one or two exceptions, depending on circumstances...... I know, your result came as a bit of a shock. :o I think that's a little harsh but, y'know. LOL! Cadbury almost not qualifying and finishing Top 10  11th, but all the same. Wow. Glad I let the final be 29 then, shows it was worth it. ;D
April 12, 200916 yr ^ I don't see why anyone really cares about the NF poll! I know i think some people want some conflict now the contest is "boring" :/ please tell me i hallucinated the above posts. 1] Some people actually like the songs in the NF's and want to enter them. Hence important poll :) and, 2] just :/
April 12, 200916 yr I know, your result came as a bit of a shock. :o I think that's a little harsh but, y'know. I'm used to dropping votes, but never that many. Which countries didn't vote??

So you could reserve your NF and your back up!
April 12, 200916 yr I see your concentrating on other posts... similar to mine to :\ I just don't see what the NF poll has to do with reserving artists with nothing to do with it. because the outcome affects WHO is being reserved by a country.

But couldn't Country X just reserve Booty luv and then if the NF rule was taken out they could let go of booty luv and choose a nf artist?
April 12, 200916 yr Author Final results? Unless I completely missed it. Not sure if I'm following you, but here: http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4599/finalt.png http://www.mediafire.com/?qndwomyiuzt ^ The actual spreadsheet with semi results and final results.
April 12, 200916 yr LOL! Cadbury almost not qualifying and finishing Top 10  LOL, qualified by one point and came 11th! :o Thanks for the votes everyone, especially Mdice, Republic of Jester and Nonsuch! :heehee: at mine and Utopia's almost identical votes! Oh and congrats to Mdice. The best song won!

April 12, 200916 yr Start the Comformation and reserving thread tonight :kink: :/ I'll post this once, and only once. Tom, Tyron and I. The Moderators of this forum decided hold the vote before the Confirmation Thread was opened so nobody was at a potential disadvantage. It was decided very early on in our discussion on the NF vote, and we have asked Ben for his co-operation in this manner. Pushing the Confirmation by a few days ensures nobody is discriminated against. Simple really.
