May 10, 200916 yr LOL Apologies for the MASS delay, we will get it up and running again tonight ^_^ YAY! Thanks!
May 10, 200916 yr http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/25-1.jpg Here's a 'biggie' which I'm slightly surprised hasn't made the top 20. I have vivid memories of watching Buffy on BBC2; I'd always watch the early showing as well as sneaking a watch of the uncensored episode later on if I could. It started off as a brilliant piece of television before being eaten up in its own ridicule - Buffy having a long-lost sister etc - but it was very enjoyable for a time. Perhaps unusually there wasn't one weak character either; Giles and the mighty Cordelia were my favourites. I'm sure I don't have to type out the three initials which are reason enough for any male to compulsively view all 144 episodes! 67pts \\
May 10, 200916 yr Agreed on the Simple Life. They're disgusting human beings, and my favourite episode probably would have been the one where they got mangled in a combine harvester. But that was the joy of the show; something like that was actually not completely outside the realms of possibility. LOL. Oh yes <3 So so so fun. I never really got Buffy. I think it's ok watched a couple of episodes here and there but was never interested enough for me to become a proper fan. Sarah Michelle Gellar <3
May 10, 200916 yr Author http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/24.jpg Don't see the appeal of this at all myself, but alas it is not my opinion that counts more the overule of Buzzjack. From what i hear, this is just a shit version of 'Skins' with 'comedy' added which is most likely in my 'I could write better myself given half the chance' category. But alas, you've voted. You've overuled us normal people. HAVE YOUR FUN. How obvious is it i'm making up crap seeing as i know nothing of the show other than hearsay? :o 69pts \\
May 10, 200916 yr inbetweeners is waaaaaaaay to low, and LOL at '$h!t version of skins' skins is $h!t in the first place, and its more like a realistic Skins but f***ing harliarious, and not $h!t.
May 10, 200916 yr Total crap. Not funny, terrible characters. They're not especially similar, but Skins >>> In Betweeners. EVERY time.
May 10, 200916 yr Never watched either of these shows! Perhaps i should give Inbetweeners a chance though.
May 10, 200916 yr ROFL Skins and the Inbetweeners aren't similar at all! I absolutely LOVE the Inbetweeners, agree with Chris that it's FAR too low. No matter what Jark says (:P), it really is one of the funniest programmes on at the moment (well, until now, because the second series just finished :snif:)
May 10, 200916 yr I keep meaning to watch The Inbetweeners. I will catch on E4 or something soon I guess!
May 10, 200916 yr Never watched Inbetweeners, Buffy is quite a dull show although i recall liking it back in the day
May 10, 200916 yr Total crap. Not funny, terrible characters. They're not especially similar, but Skins >>> In Betweeners. EVERY time. well seeing as you seem to think the abomination of a tv show that is Skins is any good, i cant take your opinon seriously :( I keep meaning to watch The Inbetweeners. I will catch on E4 or something soon I guess! from this Thursday at 10 E4 are showing series 1. you should watch it, its well amazing.
May 10, 200916 yr well seeing as you seem to think the abomination of a tv show that is Skins is any good, i cant take your opinon seriously :( You see, I'm with you on the Inbetweeners and Jark on Skins. Both are brilliant imo (but totally different)! :heehee:
May 10, 200916 yr You see, I'm with you on the Inbetweeners and Jark on Skins. Both are brilliant imo (but totally different)! :heehee: yeah who knows why the comparison was made in the first place. epicfailjames. maybe if he spent less time saying the inbetweeners is $h!t, and more time giving it at least one chance, he wouldnt be suchy a douche. at least with jark he actually watched the inbetweeners once so has his own opinon. (although he is wrong imo :kink: )
May 11, 200916 yr Buffy is pure amazement. <333 Even after the introduction of the whiny bratty sister it stayed a brilliantly written and amazingly acted show. I worship it forever. :kink: And I also don't get the hype with The Inbetweeners. Maybe it's just because I can't relate to the characters and straight man humour disgusts me.

I'm sure I don't have to type out the three initials which are reason enough for any male to compulsively view all 144 episodes! 67pts \\ I was a seriously big fan of this show... When the newer episodes were on Sky, a group of us would get together at a mate's flat and do the "Buffy and Angel" double bill every Friday night, make it a social occasion, with drinks and party nibbles.... I too am surprised by the low placing of this classic show, should be Top 10 easily because without it, there's a lot of other shows that wouldn't exist and were heavily influenced by the style and writing of the show.... I think the only time when I didn't particularly like the prog was indeed the introduction of the bratty little sister in season 5, but after that settled down, it got back to its old self in seasons 6 (the "Dark Willow" plot was fantastic) and 7 where the show ended on a real high.... I was particularly impressed with the way the show handled Willow's lesbianism and had the courage to develop it extremely well and it not just be a "phase" the character was going through.... And, to be honest, for me, it wasn't SMG that was the main draw... I was more of a Willow/Spike man...... Giles was a good character too....
May 11, 200916 yr Spot on with Buffy; there wasn't one weak character. Dawn was a bratty little $h!t, but I can see she had her uses. Anya was my favourite throughout the latter seasons; I loved how she gradually became more and more human, but never quite lost her "eccentricity". And I remember thinking the way they added Tara to the opening credits for the first time after years, only to kill her off in that episode, was GENIUS. And Dark Willow was indeed fantastic.
May 12, 200916 yr Joss Whedon is the god of TV <3 Dollhouse has really turned around in the past few episodes and regained my faith in Whedon
