Why shouldn't she have chosen 'Poker Face' as second single Jonny? It's spent 4 weeks at #01 in Australia thus far. #01 in Canada. What would have given her a bigger hit on the album than it? o_o

 

'Brown Eyes' and 'Again Again' are two of the albums weakest and I assume Interscope think so too putting it at the end of the album. I'd expect one of 'Paparazzi', 'LoveGame' or 'Strarstruck' next. Or a re-release.

 

'Eh Eh' is a weird old choice for third single. Decent song but it's very summery. Perhaps that's why it's being released in Australia? I expect something different for the US/UK third. Mind you by the time we come round to the third single it WILL be summer. Gosh :s

I think 'Money Honey' would have been just as big as 'Poker Face'. It IS very similar to 'Just Dance' but then again so is 'Poker Face'. Just personal preference really. I don't think anything would have done as well as either of these two however...

02. 'Poker Face'

03. 'The Fame'

04. 'Eh Eh'

There is not a cat in hell's chance 'The Fame' will be a single, and rightly so. I'd put money on the one or two remaining singles after 'Eh Eh' being 'Boys Boys Boys' and, if it gets to a fifth, 'Paparazzi'. They won't go with anything from the less electro, more summery side of the album.

'Paparazzi' just has to be a single! :heart: 'Boys, Boys, Boys' is insanely catchy and will do very well if it's released!

Lovegame HAS to be a single :o

There's not a cat in hell's chance that 'Boys Boys Boys' will be a single either. No straight man would go near it. It's too similar to 'Eh Eh' too. I still think the order should go:

04 'Retro Physical' (album re-release)

05 'LoveGame' // 'Strarstruck'

The entire appeal of LoveGame is based around 'lets have some fun, this beat is sick' etc. A saucy lyric. Boys Boys Boys is actually a brilliant pop song.
