Though Tennessee's Kings of Leon are a rock band from the south, that doesn't mean they're a Southern Rock band. The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV

Album Discussion Thread Here

SURELY, this must be SOF's last week in the Top 40...
I'm starting to like 'Number One' :( I bow my head in shame

That's normal for a person to like a "song".

La Roux has dissed GaGa and The Saturdays. The bitch must be bitter...

She's awful.

My mum has just decided that she likes Kings Of Leon and Coldplay. :P

She hasn't been listening to Sex On Fire for a million weeks, that's why!

I've changed my predicitons, so they feature Alesha.

My predictions:

1. Tinchy Stryder ft. N-Dubz - Number One

2. La Roux - In For The Kill

3. Ironik ft. Chipmunk & Elton John - Tiny Dancer

4. Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone

5. Lady GaGa - Poker Face

6. Eminem - We Made You

7. Ciara ft. Justin Timberlake - Love Sex Magic

8. Lily Allen - Not Fair

9. A.R. Rahman & Pussycat Dolls - Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)

10. Beyonce - Halo

11. Girls Aloud - Untouchable

12. Miley Cyrus - The Climb

13. P!nk - Please Don't Leave Me

23. Britney Spears - If U Seek Amy

25. Demi Lovato - La La Land

31. Miley Cyrus - Hoedown Throwdown

34. Alesha Dixon - Let's Get Excited

Rugby, U.K., singer-songwriter James Morrison could be the genetic offspring of James Blunt, Joss Stone, and Terence Trent-D'Arby. Soulful vocals mixed with sensitive acoustic guitars, and some tasteful Beatles-esque string flourishes, and there you have it. Morrison's debut album, UNDISCOVERED, released in July of 2006, owed as much to contemporaries KT Tunstall and Damien Rice as it did to legends like Otis Redding, Cat Stevens, or Nick Drake--and that undeniably successful formula, not surprisingly, took the album to the top of the U.K. album charts. - HMV

This song has been the bloody chart longer than 3 singles from Britney Spears & P!nk. The bed where they had sex must be ash by now
Yes Alesha Dixon has climbed since mid-weeks
La Roux has dissed GaGa and The Saturdays. The bitch must be bitter...

The cow! :heehee:

I still love Broken Strings - It's become my most played iTunes song (237 Plays)

I still love Broken Strings

I can't do anything :(

This song has been the bloody chart longer than 3 singles from Britney Spears & P!nk. The bed where they had sex must be ash by now

Actually it was in a pool.

The pool has evaporated slowly, but it was given some helpful water donations from the BRIT awards.

The only reason it's ahead of Omen now is because the Kings got bored and used some of their water to scrub off the writings.

On the wall.

And it went away.
