O-ho-ho, I'm back again with the best chart no-one cares about! ou know the deal, first post and etc.

Feel free to skip this post if you don't care about details.

 

Here's just some info about the chart, which will be posted over a few posts for 101-121, 76-100, 41-75, 11-40 and the top 10.

 

Layout:

Last Week's Position - Position - Artist - Data - Points

 

Most of these are self-explanatory, but here's some detail about 'Data' and 'Points'. (skip the rest of this post if you don't give a crap about details and just want to see the chart)

 

Data is set out as follows: Song Title - Extra info - Chart movement data

Extra info deals with credit (featured artists, referred to as (f), only get half score for the song, but other mixed credits, namely (vs) and (dual) make no difference to score, simply pointing out that they share full credit with another artist) and 'special' movements (these are marked as (NE) for a new entry, (RE) for a re-entry or (X) for a dropout).

Chart movement data simply shows its chart run within the last 16 weeks. 'x' denotes a position of 41 or higher, and if the 'x' is followed by a number and then a re-entry position (e.g. x2-R40-) the number next to the 'x' is the number of weeks at 41+ before a re-entry to the top 40.

Scoring for 'Points' is simple for #2-40, as #2 is worth 39 points and #40 is worth just 1 point. #1 is slightly different, with the points going up for the number of weeks staying at #1. 1 week is 50, 2 weeks is 100 etc.

The peak position is doubled for its first week at the peak, or last week at #1 (a two-week #1 would get double points for the 100, not the 50), and any re-entries also get double points. A re-entry at a new peak is worth quadruple (x4) points.

Just one more element - the multipliers. *gasps for breath* First this sum of points is multiplied by the number of songs for that artist, then it is multiplied for total weeks on the chart. The first week for each song is x1, and every additional week (including re-entries) adds a further 0.5x.
