July 23, 200915 yr five  i'll be dling anyway tbh, but its embassing to watch shows from five. (although five was born on a great day).
July 23, 200915 yr Channel 5 have picked it up. Disappointed as I hope BBC2 or even C4 would get it. Everything by Channel 5 usually gets poached by Sky 1, 2 years later, just like Prison Break or was that on Channel 4 at the beginning, I can't remember.
July 23, 200915 yr Author I think PB was 5 and Lost was 4 and Sky got them :( I didnt have Sky at the time so thats when I lost them both. "The show is due to launch in the US on 24 September at 8pm, with the UK run on Five expected to air within days. The show will then also TX on digital Fiver." Thats something I suppose.
July 23, 200915 yr If it's released in close proximiy to the US, I'll probably stick to watching on Five .. but if they start to mess around, I'm straight to downloads.
July 23, 200915 yr I'll watch online. I've not got huge expectations about this.. everything i've read so far has been pretty mediocre. I'm more looking forward to Day One and Happy Town.
July 24, 200915 yr Author Some stuff from Comic-Con 11.50am: Sat down awaiting FlashForward screening/press conference to begin. 11.53am: Jeff Jensen (writer) opens the panel and introduces creators Marc Guggenheim, Brannon Braya and David E. Goyer. 11.55am: Goyer says we're going to be shown the first two acts, plus extras including some spoilers at the end. "We were filming last night until two in the morning - forgive us if we're tired." 11.56am: We're treated to a sneak preview of episode one. 12.14pm: Joseph Fiennes comes on stage and is joined by John Cho. 12.16pm: Courtney B. Vance, Christine Woods introduced. Goyer admits, "The reason the whole cast isn't here is because we're filming today." 12.16pm: Goyer addresses the kangaroo (!) in the opening episode. "Kangaroo will be back! There are five or six other things hidden throughout the first two acts..." He also reveals that April 29 may be broken into two episodes, one airing the week later. 12.21pm: Goyer explains the show isn't solely based in LA. "The first three episodes, we go to three different countries. Every single person in the world is a potential character." 12.22pm: When asked to define the genre of the show, Goyer says, "We're very interested in the investigative element to the show. If you want a mystery aspect or a procedural, we've got that. Every image that you saw, it's already been figured out. If you knew you were going to be with a different person in six months, what would you do? Would you seek that person out?" 12.24pm: Goyer says, "Nothing is ever gonna be the new Lost. Lost was a genre-breaking show - it was daring, challenging." 12.26pm: Goyer refuses to confirm or deny the rumours about Dominic Monaghan appearing in the series. 12.43pm: Goyer cryptically reveals that episode seven is a game-changing one. 12.45pm: We're treated to clips from the series and learn that some characters don't have a vision during the blackout. 12:46pm: Dominic Monaghan appears in the final clip, then comes on stage at end. He informs us that he plays a character called Simon, then teases that he's not sure if anyone ever dies on Lost. Goyer confirms that Monaghan plays a game-changing character.
July 24, 200915 yr Yes it's true - Dominic Monaghon is going to be in both Lost and Flash Forward this year. Pretty sure he's gonna show up at Lost's Comic Con panel tomorrow seen as they've got a special guest.
August 31, 200915 yr I see the trailers are up on channel 5, it must be a joint start with the US, I think the opening show is the last week of Sept, still a bit of a wait.
September 1, 200915 yr Oh i must be one of about 10 people in the whole country not to have Five, urgh :/
September 3, 200915 yr Ive seen some trailers on Five and this does look impressive. I wouldnt call this the new Lost as im attracted to this way more than Lost ever has.
September 18, 200915 yr You can watch the first 18 minutes here: http://www.tvguide.com/News/FlashForward-E...px?rss=keywords
September 18, 200915 yr Starts Monday 28 September 9pm :cheer: be prepared though for a large break in between episodes, they are practically transmitted them back to back with the US transmission.
September 24, 200915 yr Author SO cant wait to watch this tomorrow :D The producers of FlashForward have claimed that they already know how the series will end. Speaking to SFX, David S. Goyer, who has also worked on Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, said that he has meticulously planned the end of the show. "We pitched [ABC]a fairly excessive plan," he said. "I mean, we know exactly the shot that season one ends on! They obviously said this resembles Lost, in that it's a really cool script, but do you have any idea where it goes? "We said, 'Yeah we know how the whole season ends and how the whole series ends', and they went, 'Holy s**t!'" Producer Marc Guggenheim added: "We know what the ultimate season is and the penultimate season is. For in between, we know the various seasons but we are treating it like an accordion. "In success, [the show] can go seven years. In less success, it would need to go three years to work. The end game of the show, to be properly done, really requires two full seasons focusing on the end game."
September 25, 200915 yr Author Superb first ep. Set the series up so well! I hate the thought we have years to wait before knowing the full story! So glad this is finally on
September 26, 200915 yr Quite enjoyed this. I find some of the characters a bit bland so far but I guess within time i'll grow to care/like about them. Was pretty interesting - especially the ending. Hahaha sorry, but no wonder it's going to draw comparisons to Lost when it blatantly rips off Lost's opening sequence !!!!!!!! But i'll forgive the producers as it's definitely likely that ABC want it to be like that to fill the hole when Lost finishes. Loved the Oceanic airlines shout out as well.
September 26, 200915 yr It looks interesting, I hope it doesn't get too mysterious for it's own good though. I used to like lost but as soon as the started wanting to go back to the island that killed it for me, just totally stupid....
