July 5, 200916 yr The remix by Dave Spoon - is this as in Jam and Spoon? If so - should be incredible. 'fraid not. Dave Spoon is a tech-house producer from Maidstone! He's usually on top of his game though, an all round decent produer.
July 10, 200915 yr I was hoping we'd see the mysterious Mary Pearce in the video... she's blates a diva  But not too bad a video. He's also just done an amazing mix of Mr Hudson - Supernova, it's on his channel :w00t:
July 13, 200915 yr It's not TERRIBLE, but it's not really good. Not a huge fan of his. I did like 'Acceptable In The 80's' though.
July 24, 200915 yr Calvin Harris 'fuming' over YouTube error Calvin Harris has used his Twitter blog to launch an explosive tirade against YouTube after it removed the official video for his new single 'Ready For The Weekend' from the site. The Scottish DJ went on to blast the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) as "a useless shower of c**ts" who were failing to adequately combat music piracy. "Youtube have now removed the ORIGINAL mix and video of Ready For The Weekend, due to a 'copyright claim'," he wrote. "IT'S MY F**KING SONG YOU ABSOLUTE bast*rdS. This is enough to tip me over the edge, i'm not joking. There are videos up there that other people have uploaded of the same song, and they haven't been removed!? But mine does! "It's the f**king BPI. F**K YOU 'The BPI' what have you ever done for anybody you useless shower of c**ts. Fantastic use of time combating piracy by removing my own videos, what a f**king revelation. F**k the Torrent sites, this is the way forward." He continued: "The BPI are the worst organisation to ever walk the earth and their setup is shambolic and their online employees are all massive r*t****. This is unbelievable, and it seems I am completely powerless to do anything. Sony have done nothing, the BPI have done nothing. "I'm going to drive my car into the big window in the BPI's offices on my way to the studio this morning. I'm going to hire a 4x4 for the day so i make more of an impact, and hopefully reach the online monkeys at the back of the office. "Then i'm going to jump out the sunroof and get busy with a frying pan. OR WOK. We already contacted them 3 DAYS AGO about the Fake Blood and High Contrast mixes and they've done nothing, just continued!?" Issuing a part-retraction two hours later, Harris wrote: "Ok I got a bit caught up in the heat of the moment. Sorry to employees of the BPI who aren't massive r*t****. But please put my video back." http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a166882/...tube-error.html This made me laugh :kink:

July 25, 200915 yr Single Ready For The Weekend already become his second album's second Radio 1 A-list single :D Hopefully his third #1 on 16th Aug. :D
July 27, 200915 yr I was hoping we'd see the mysterious Mary Pearce in the video... she's blates a diva  You should go and see Beverley Knight on tour then. If I'm not mistaken, this Mary is the same Mary who sings back up vocals on her live shows. :kink:
July 27, 200915 yr I heard this on the radio a few weeks ago, i wasn't too keen on it at first but now i'm in love with this song. Definately a grower! If you don't like it atm, then listen to it a few times and you'll probably like it. So, where do we think Ready For The weekend is gonna chart? Top 15 I'd say :)
July 27, 200915 yr So, where do we think Ready For The weekend is gonna chart? Top 15 I'd say :) Top 15? I'd say it's likely to reach #1, not that it really deserves to.
July 28, 200915 yr Don't think it'll have massive staying power. It will peak high but then drop relatively quickly. The album will sell loads though.
July 28, 200915 yr He's performing this on Alan Carr: Chatty Man this Sunday, so hopefully people will still remember it when it's released the week after ^_^
July 28, 200915 yr Wasn't keen on it at first, but my GOD it's a grower! Hearing it alot on my local station at work and it seems to be getting better and better! Definately another Top 3 hit for him, number 1? I don't know.
