May 12, 200916 yr Odds on Warriors Dance getting top 10? is it far off on sales?? Someone earlier said Alesha was 60 copies away from top 10 and she is 14 so i imagine they are literally only a few copies away..
May 12, 200916 yr Someone earlier said Alesha was 60 copies away from top 10 and she is 14 so i imagine they are literally only a few copies away.. I think that was probably with the album, where she is #11.
May 12, 200916 yr Only one of them is really a new entry... :nocheer: In a way its 2 new entries, Ain't No Sunshine is an old track but it never charted in the UK Charts, is making its first appearance, it did chart in the U.S. though. And its highly likely it will stay top 40, most of the tracks that are charting from the back of BGT, they usually fall by the end of the week.
May 12, 200916 yr Looks like NF won't climb by how far it's sales are behind. :( Could someone post the position of PDLM?
May 12, 200916 yr LOL 100 copies between Tinchy Stryder and BEP! :P I guess there are mising sales as always today. I'm thinking now BEP will be well ahead tomorrow.
May 12, 200916 yr La Roux could still push Tinchy a place down, she could remain at #2, the top 3 seem to be set in stone, huge gap between La Roux and Lily Allen.

Then again I thought the same about It Never Rains In Southern California by Albert Hammond. And I Like Chopin by Gazebo :kink:
May 12, 200916 yr Wow, Untouchable has dropped far more quickly than I think anyone envisaged. Nah, not at all imo, its completely fits in with the pattern of this download era. "Untouchable" mirrored Kylie's corresponding single release (3rd single, top tune, from pop album that has already sold ( from 1st and 2nd singles) well) ie "In My Arms" from (May) last year which too had modest downloads but gained the final high position from a HUGE fan base buying the physical on week of release. Naturally physical sales collapse steeply ( + download potential is smaller for 3rd single) and so the chart position is dragged down realtively quickly. However most importantly for Record co. pov the album(s) get back into the TOP 40 for a couple of weeks or so. Jobs a good 'un. :cheer: As mentioned many times before, for well established acts with such album sales, the days of having 3rd (+ 4th) single releases as big hits seems over UNLESS they have big enough fanbases to buy the physical in enough quantities.+ As has always been the case, the longer U R around the more difficult it is to have (as big) hits.
May 12, 200916 yr Parlophone's Lily Allen is eyeing a move into the top five with It's Not Fair, while Asylum/Atlantic's Alesha Dixon is expected to score her third Top 20 solo hit with Let's Get Excited. Eh, 4th? Lipstick made the top20 her first time around the solo block. Honestly, MW need to employ some better fact checkers people actually believe what they print and half the time its crap  I'd like to see Alesha and Prodigy get top10, and Poker Face for #6! BEP will be no1 due to the iTunes argument but it is a drop in quality for them imho
May 12, 200916 yr Amazing for Not Fair! I love it but since it's been already in the top10 for weeks and weeks wasn't expercting a top5! Ugh at BEP already a sure-fire #1 :puke2: Edited May 12, 200916 yr by thematrix
May 12, 200916 yr Blak eyed peas will be number 1 i think,i would love both the prodigy and alesha to make the top 10 singles and hopefully aleshas album will go top 10 this week or next week its come near so many times
May 12, 200916 yr Hope Prodigy get top 10, it's already doing better than classics like Voodoo People and Poison :o Top 10 would be incredible!
